and the small venues is why I cancelled my cruise out of Iceland. I found RCI Jewel also doing Iceland and then Ireland. I will for now stick with the Breakaway and Breakaway Plus class. I think the atrium idea needs to be addressed as folks like trivia and can't find a seat. They have the same issue on RCI as well when they use bars to hold these games. Small and cozy does not work so much on big ships anymore.

wow wish I was able to take that much time. But I am leaving on Sun for NJ to take the Oasis of the Seas for a 7 day boring itinerary. I am going for the ship. Enjoy the Encore, I did the Bliss in 2018 through the PC and make sure you move around ship to get various views. Do not just sit in the Observation lounge as some of the best photos are at the back of the ship after leaving a lock. Enjoy Alaska as well. I did that in late August of this year on the Quantum of the seas. Shops in Juneau might have some great end of the season sales. In Ketchikan near the lumberjack show, there is a great seafood place to eat called the Fish House. Lines move and the food is great. Fries have a mesquite taste as well.

well I think if one is not into Marvel, then one should pick a different week. Otherwise for me it would be not much fun. Theme cruises are fine if you like the theme.

aw yes men will balk more on dressing up with a tie as they feel they are on vacation. Women mostly like getting dressed up. Kids not so much unless it is a cute mommy and me dress. Still overall, I do not want to see men's kneecaps in the evening. oh well just me

Nope, nada. Best thermal spa is on NCL class ships built in the last 7-8 years. Really nice with lots of variety. Other ships do not compare.

and right now it is a hot mess. Starts at 6:45 and folks line up around 6pm and well IMHO it should hope earlier. But they use the dining area after the 5pm folks. Most folks I talk to say MTD is like a late dining. Many give up and just enjoy the WindJammer which is pretty good most nights. Or they do specialty.

agree and more and more folks are taking their noisy kids to these speciality restaurants and so the vibe is a bit more noisy and not as relaxing as some folks might want. For me it is about the food and the service, and I try to tune out the rest,

Great you got to see. I was on in June and no show and the reason was a big darn secret. Nothing from the CD and the rumors were all over the place. I was disappointed in CD for lack of explanation. oh well. Did not see Hairspray on Symphony due to continued rehearsals. So having done thee Oasis class ships and NO broadway show, looks like I will have to be happy with CATS in 2 weeks on Oasis. Sure hope Wonder puts a broadway show on in the future and I know it takes 6 months minimum to plan.

I got cookies and then a couple of days either I got some fruit. I also had to ask for a c/a free robe to use. also on ADV OTS, only place I got choc covered strawberries was in the diamond lounge at 5pm All ships seem to be stingy with cookies. I was told the supply chain is still an issue as the cookies are only baked on board from the dough they get.

it felt small to me. I did not like the layout and no view in the back area, I did not think they needed a bunch of sofas in the entrance either.

Yes I am glad to being going next weekend (the 9th actually) after hurricane has blown over.

hmmm now that could explain why our captain on Adventure never made and appearance at Captain Corners or at the Veterans Salute. I think a lot of Captains are skipping their talks a few months more. But on Wonder in April, we did have Captain Rob who was great and even walked the Boardwalk and posed for photos.

oh thanks for the chuckle on this one. Still Harmony I think is moving to Ft Lauderdale when Wonder comes over. Or is it Miami. well it is moving soon anyways.

Gee I am glad I like to move around every hour and try different spots on the ship. I never understand why one would want to sit in one spot for a whole day unless they had kids, or it was a really great spot. Sometimes the music at the pool deck is way to loud. I do notice more and more folks getting chairs out of the sun in shade a lot earlier.

well I had a letter in my room on Allure in June and a day later having filled out the form it came. Last week on Adventure, I had to go to desk to ask and she said that she would have caught up with me but does not like to have the stewards deliver them. hmmmm not sure what to think as I had a nice lady and oh well. I did pick mine up later in the week. So, this year I have gotten two ON THE ship. But my 2019 Crystal (which I never knew about) never got on the radar. But alas on another ship I went and then sent an email and withing 6 weeks I got my Ovation crystal. Now I have one from three different class ships, Voyager, Quantum, and Oasis. I will be hard to try and time it out to get something from other class ships because of trying to guess what points and what sailing. So, I will be happy with my three, Ovation, Allure, and Adventure. It does sound like there is no consistency within the fleet on crystals.

sorry to hear this. I was on ADV OTS and your ship was in port with us in St Johns and Sydney. We all waved to your ship and heard the horns by the captains. Some of us were wondering if your ship would get to do Bar Harbor. I guess the weather really did reach in land more that it was thought. We got to do Bar Harbor on Mon 19th and had nice weather and then came the rainy St Johns. Sorry again you did not get to go to Bar Harbor. Our Friday was very rocky and ship was going full speed.

wow I was just in Sydney on Thursday 22nd, and they were very worried about the pending storm. Had a nice bus tour and our ship sailing at 2pm and really went top speed for almost 24 hours. We rocked and rolled for about a half day on Friday but I sat in bed for the worst of it. toodles
