  1. Have fun Abbey - You will love Solstice an the cruise. If you are traveling in Retreat you will love the Concierge - Mar - My opinion is she is the best in the fleet. You missed a good drenching today. Only a couple of cells came through but when they did even with an umbrella my pants got soaked. 5 minutes later it was gone.
  2. If I read your message correctly you have returned from your cruise. If that is the case you missed it. You have to book while on-board.
  3. https://www.celebritycruises.com/bid-on-cruise-room-upgrade Usually anyone can bid except the Warehouse Club as they do not participate in it. Usually you will get an invite at about 21 days prior to cruise
  4. About the only time I've seen passengers are restricted from bidding is bookings from the Big Warehouse Company. Otherwise even without a invite you can go to https://www.celebritycruises.com/bid-on-cruise-room-upgrade Enter Reservation # and Last Name Another option is to contact CelebrityMoveUp@Celebrity.com they are usually pretty quick to answer.
  5. You are way too early for the App to be anywhere near accurate. About a week before is best you can rely on. The remainder are just space holders. Best to check a current sailing on the ship. The menu will be the same as yours.
  6. There is only one Cruise Terminal in Amsterdam. Amsterdam Cruise Port, De Ruijterkade 7, 1011 AB Amsterdam, Netherlands It is about 1/4 mile from Amsterdam Central Train Station Join your Roll Call or look at an existing one and you will see many hotel recommendations. Also be cognizant that many of the sailing this season have been shifted to Rotterdam for either Arrival or Departure. It is due to new port schedules to correspond with tides to limit salt intrusion.
  7. That is our plan. We will be arriving on the TA on Equinox Dec 2024 so plenty of time to plan. I was thinking of flying there on day of disembarkation so I don't have to get 2 AirB2B or pay for 3-4 days that we would not be there. Did you take the Celebrity Excursion? I know they can be extremely expensive. When we did the the Taj Mahal I took the Celebrity itinerary and had an agent replicate it except we stayed in Agra instead of Delhi. The price was about 1/4 of what Celebrity was charging and it ended up 1/2 of the Celebrity Excursion was on the same flight as us.
  8. Some carriers like ATT also have Celluar at Sea starting at $50 per day - which may be cheaper than paying a one day rate. I have T-Mobile and they have free international roaming in almost all countries with certain plans.
  9. If you are on May 7 Italy Croatia --- I would say Day 2 - May 8 and Day 7 May 13
  10. Instead of guessing. The easiest way is go to Celebrity App - Daily Planner and look at 5PM. YOu will see either Chic Night or Chic Night Photos. For Feb 5 Cruise - East Caribbean (should be same for all East Caribbean) Day 2 and Day 6
  11. I've not experienced this before. I had one that I couldn't get the B2B credit on because it was booked via 2 different agents and one post final payment. Celebrity System just knows by you CC number and even break it out for the ship on how many B2B's of each class -
  12. I'll also be interested in hearing about the discount. Something more I've never known about. Possibly my agent or Celebrity apply it during the booking and never noticed it.
  13. I use any of the Airline Sites - under cruises. You have to go to each category and then physically count the number of cabins. They are both listed off to the right side as well as a blinking light on the deck plan. I always use these sites for searching cruises as it is so much easier than celebrity site and but never booked with them.
  14. We have done hundreds of private tours mostly in Europe and never had a problem, not even a close call. The tour operations life depends on making sure they aren't the cause of missing a departure. Of course things can happen. I always plan our tours so we will be back to the ship about 1 1/2 hours before sailing. Yes you can join the ship again at the next port. Just make sure you don't miss the last port before a TransAtlantic (LOL). In the daily planner for each port they list the Port Agent as well as contact for things like the U.S. Consulate or Embassy. I usually take a picture just in case.
  15. We will be on Apex in April so will be interesting to see. More out of curiosity as I'm unable to drink because alcohol triggers migraines.
  16. What room type are you in? Like others have said I believe at this point it is just a place holder. I checked the current sailing and showing the surcharge. They app usually is not accurate until 1-2 weeks prior to sailing.
  17. Officially they ask that you be aboard 1 1/2 to 2 hours prior to sailing. I've had them waive it to 1 hour on a B2B when I was going on a tour.
  18. If you see this using the link from your original bid for the Concierge you most likely will win the upgrade and will be processed shortly. If you see this using a link from a different category e.g. Aqua - that is normal and you have to use the original to be able to cancel or up the bid.
  19. When you first make your bid you got a confirmation. If you click on the confirmation you will be able to see your bids and can modify or cancel them also. Sometimes you call see all your bids other times you have to click each bid link independently.
  20. About the only possibility for free internet is if you are Elite or above - Elite receive 90 minutes free Premium Internet per member Elite+ 240 minutes You can also buy a 24 hour continuous use or 1 hour continuous use but are very expensive. UN-discounted 34.00 for 1 hour or 67.00 for 1 day. The time starts when you logon and are not incremental like the free minutes. In the internet cafe the do have "Free" internet but only to browse Celebrity Site they also offered it on some cruises when we had to apply for a Canadian and Portugal Arrival Registration (only the specific site)
  21. They really are good. Our Assistant Waiter's job was to get up every morning and 5AM and squeeze it. She said the only places that get the fresh squeezed was Luminae, Blu, Elite CC and Retreat. She actually told me how many pitchers she squeezes for each but don't recall. The Premium is factory squeezed like you buy in the Grocery and the regular is from frozen concentrate.
  22. When you make a booking you are immediately charged to either your OBC or Credit Card. I have a little experience on this as today I was booking 4 of us for Eden on an upcoming cruise. Even though the reservations are linked it said I couldn't book both at the same time due to "different currencey or group ID" Asked my agent to sort out since I booked both and using the same credit card. OK... First go round I booked Iain and I for 8:30 and then tried to book his sister but only had 8:00 or 9:00 available so I chose 8:00 and went back to mine and cancelled. The OBC was reapplied withing a couple minutes. I then booked us for 8:00 also. I accidently booked the wrong date (Iain's Birthday) so back in and cancelled both reservations and rebooked for 2 days later. Again the credit was almost immediately applied back to the OBC. I've previously canelled one that I accidently charged to my Credit Card and when cancelled it took about 3 days to get back on my CC. You can cancel your reservation up to 24 hours prior dinner time (actually most of the time even if closer they will credit you for dinner reservations). They are not as accomadating for excursions. If you cancel any excursion or dinner reservation up until 48 hours prior to the cruise it will go back to original form of payment (if CC) or to your OBC After that if you cancel it will again go to your NR OBC if that is what you used but if using a credit card goes to yoru account as a Refundable OBC.
