  1. Since I walk 10 miles a day I did lots of laps around the ship and was looking really close and really had a hard time even finding a rust spot that wasn't touched up by the next day. Maintenance and Cleanliness was incredible, which says a lot for the crew and their attention to detail.
  2. For menus it is best to download the Celebrity App and choose a current Silhouette cruise. You will be able to view all the menus that are currently in use. Celebrity has a rotation of 15 menus and usually start each cruise with the Day 1 menu regardless of lenght. The menus are not unique to each ship and are used fleet wide. Exception are E-Class ships that have 4 MDR's and each have some themed set selections available every night Celebrity is really good with Special Dietary requirements. The MD will stop by you table each evening to review your choices. Diamond Status will give you Elite Status on Celebrity and you will get 90 minutes of Free Premium per member plus 30% discount on Internet Per @jelayne in a recent post #4 Posted 8 minutes ago If you purchase basic wi-fi pre cruise it is $17 per day for 1 device.
  3. I usually just log in and it sometimes saves me 30 seconds. Even if I have a photo on both check-in's they often take pictures again.
  4. You can just book both cruises independently but want to either have an agent or Celebrity apply the B2B small discount. I usually just book myself and turn over to a TA for additional discounts and he handles all the rest
  5. They reclassified some cabins. Same cabin but now a higher classification.
  6. Solstice has gone through normal maintenance dry docks but has not been revolutionized. No Retreat Sundeck and Michael's Club is still the old wooden club look. She has had a paint job and has the Blue Hull. Cabins are also original colors but have new nice mattresses. I was on her in December and is in beautiful condition. Actually as good or better than ships that have gone through early revolution.
  7. While I don't see it published the group that handle it is the Engagement. Would definitely make phone contact instead of E-Mail They are the group I dealt with when I came down with Covid. (888) 305-1427 celebrityengagementcenter@celebrity.com
  8. I personally hate it and usually don't get off the ship. OK... we aren't big on laying out in the sun and the "Activities" are something of little interest. Also the pushy vendors are also a negative as well as the 12 foot chain link fences with armed guards exiting Last time we tendered there it was 105F and felt sorry for the crew. Passengers went ashore but due to the extreme temperatures most returned rather quickly. I'm sure this isn't the norm.
  9. I do the same but even if your ship should not be at the assigned Terminal (which happened to me once) the ship is easy to spot and the price was the same. When you type "Port Everglades" (I didn't even need to type it all) it will pop up all the terminals.
  10. Couple more phone numbers from the Cruise Documents - the last two numbers for trip interruption.
  11. It really depends on what you want to do with WiFi. If you only text,do email and Facebook then basic will probably suffice. If you want to browse and use sites like CruiseCritics, Voice Call etc you will need Premium. Neither are robust but think in terms of the old 1,2000 dial up modems - basic is like this. Premium (without Starlink) is like the highest speed dial up before wired internet.
  12. Like others - we had a 11:30 arrival time but our flight didn't arrive until 11:00 so was closer to 12:30 when we arrived. No lines for either suites or regular guests. They had a two suite agents (no other guests) near the front door with iPads. The scanned our seapass, passport etc and were directed to the escalators to board the ship in less than 5 minutes. Was so quick we never even saw a Suites Lounge.
  13. That's correct. I would however check - Usually it is one internet account per guest. So if you booked with your spouse you will each get one account and can use unlimited devices on each account but only one device at a time per account. If it is the free account is Aqua or above the account is the Premium Interne
  14. I've been using my AirTabs for 2 years and are still running on original batteries. I will probably replace them before our next cruise. I do enjoy watching my bag move from the terminal to the side of the plane and to help know when they move from the plane to the luggage belt area. They have so many other good uses. If you are like me and "occasionally" misplace your car in a crowded parking lot - the Apple FindMy can help direct you to where last seen (of course the car hasn't moved so pretty reliable) Also recently I was helping my son on a construction project and had my backpack with me (also has an AirTag). I got 2 blocks from his house (about 50 miles from mine) and I got an alert that I left my backpack behind. Yea. One caution that I just ignore. Very often every time you leave your room you will get an alert that you left your suite case behind.
  15. Happy to follow along and especially hear about your planning for Iguasu Falls. Planning visiting them on a cruise in the next couple of years.
  16. I've been in 9121 and no problems - They have a Privacy Shield facing Elevator Also the drapes are positioned to further block any intrusion. Also found a video of 6109 on Summit. Same as I remember
  17. In my experience from years gone by that they will either pull two double tables together or reconfigure the larger tables. The 6/8 tops can drop the wings and convert in to a 4 top. Depending on how busy the dining room is they also may give you a 6 top and just spread you out.
  18. Thanks for doing a live post. Really enjoying photos and all the details. You have a great writing style and have already suckered me in ...
  19. We were on the same Cruise as @jelayne and had a wonderful dinner in Murano. I don't recall anything had changed on their menu from previous cruises. My favorites are - Dover Sole, Rack of Lamb and Lobster. Service was exceptional with Lobster being prepared table side and Dover Sole de-boned table side. It definitely is worth it. In my opinion it is the best Specialty on the M and S Class. I'll reserved opinion on E-Class Eden after I try their new menu in April.
  20. To my knowledge the only port that offers Luggage Valet is Seattle and that is provided by the Port. The company that once offered it went out of business and Celebrity hasn't contracted with anyone to provide.
  21. Luggage Valet was discontinued pre-covid when the company went out of business. The only port that offers similar is Seattle where it is offered by the Port.
  22. Thanks - Last week when I looked it didn't have the price but now showing the price as you indicated. Just another quick question. You said you can reserve by calling US Reservation is this also true if you booked with an Agent? Some cruise lines are sticky about this.
