  1. The are now using large dispenser bottles which have Body Soap, Shampoo and Conditioner. They usually also usually have shower caps. I'm not a big fan of body wash and ask for bar soap which is not a problem.
  2. So excited to hear that you were upgraded. Happy birthday and enjoy yourself.
  3. Agree 100% with strategy. In the U.S. the Flu may more of a concern this year than in the past. We have already had our Covid Bivalent and our Senior Dose Flu shots - hope that combined with Masks and staying distant from others in Michael's Club we will be as safe as possible. Like you we always wear KN-95's and I usually never use the elevators - Iain on the other hand does use them.
  4. Just make sure you download the software for another provider if you decide to use another one. I've found that the ships have the DNS lookup blocked for the VPN websites but you can reach them using a VPN connection.
  5. I have heard that some Doctors will prescribe it. I talked to mine and he said he couldn't as it would be a violation of the Emergency Approval of the drug that don't allow off label prescription to someone who has not tested positive.
  6. There can be some good prices. Example Gray Goose - 2 Liters for $60. At BevMo $50 plus 9% sales tax per liter bottle here’s their list from Summit last month. LOL - I guess it's also a self portrait.
  7. Definitely just ignore. I see the same on our reservation even though we are in a Suite. Just Celebrity's IT team poor programing.
  8. Mine showed up in Cruise Planner the day after I received the invoice, but mine were for cruises in December out to 2024 Not sure when you applied but I believe if you apply within 2 weeks (may be 3) of the cruise they apply it on-board. I found the same if you cancel an excursion within a certain windows the credit is applied while onboard instead of back to your OBC or CC.
  9. I respectfully disagree. I've been using it with VPN for the past 3 years when traveling outside the U.S. Streaming video would include things like Netflix, Prime Video, YourTube, CNN clips etc...etc. Basically streaming video is any video content that you are not first downloading to your computer. Could it be Porn? Sure as well as it could be cartoons.
  10. Sometimes when I have VPN enabled and go to Google it makes me do a validation because of a recognized VPN. It makes sense that YouTubeTV has similar detection since they are owned by Google.
  11. Not criticizing but it is not the ship that is sick it is the passengers and their behavior that may be the risk factor. All 9 of the cruises I have been on Summit, Millennium, Silhouette and Equinox had levels of Covid during the cruise that passed the 3% level and announcements were made asking all passengers to wear mask and requirements in the Casino and Theater. I may just be an observation but it seems the longer the cruise the more cases are reported. That may be that many test positive after the cruise. Personally with the dropping of regulations everywhere we choose to wear masks in all Stores, Airplanes, Buses, Uber and anyplace we are within 6 feet of others. Even that did not prevent us from catching the Omicorn Variant. Luckily mostly asymptomatic I believe because of our Vaccinations
  12. Celebrity have masks available at many locations around the cruise. They are the more common surgical masks and are not the N95. After we tested positive in March they gave us KN95 masks for exiting the ship.
  13. We did a B2B in Boston at the end of August returning from Greenland. It was as @Arizona Wildcat described. The only difference from her description was that the 4 of us in Retreat Class they had us meet in Retreat instead of Sky Lounge and after all of the other B2B's had been processed they brought us up and we flashed our Passports and then they tapped us off an tapped us on. Our key didn't work to be tapped back on so the Retreat Host had to run downstairs and make a new card taking about 5 minutes.
  14. Thanks for posting. I was just reading another thread that B2B processing was really smooth. Hope you have a wonderful cruise.
  15. Really not new. That has always been the process in Boston for at least the past 4 years. They use a similar procedure in San Diego and a number of other ports where Immigration for the complete ship is done aboard the ship. It is more of a CBC decision and facilities at the port. On our Canadian Summit we had cleared immigration in Portland (first U.S. Port) so turn around was really easy as no immigration involved in Boston for all passengers. I agree with you it was a much easier process.
  16. Have a good cruise. Just fill in your mail in ballot and drop off at the drop box at City Hall. I dropped mine off yesterday. Hope you have a wonderful cruise. Isn't this the Westbound TA that we were talking about?
  17. I use either Express VPN or Nord - Both work but if a specific location is used by many it blacklists the IP. I just select a different city. It doesn't have to be your home city it can be any U.S. City. I've never used surfshark but you might try a different city before subscribing to another. While traveling it usually pulls up local content (due to advertising constraints) but you can view your recording. I usually record my home news channels at different times of the day. I specifically enjoy it because I find both FOX and CNBC so polarized in both direction I will not watch either. That leaves BBC which is ok.
  18. I did the same when I first booked. It is so easy to not put in the amount to deduct from OBC and then it goes direct to your credit card.
  19. Probably if you call in. It may be easier to go online in cruise planner - Cancel and rebook I just did this on 5 tours. I was reluctant on one as it was sold out but when I cancelled my 2 spaces were available and rebooked.
  20. Should work. I submitted mine as JPG imges an had no problem. I've also submitted in PDF format
  21. Last time I was there they did not off a shuttle to anywhere. Train station is a easy walk form the ship and most people either took tours or toured on their own. The train runs about every 15 minutes and takes about 30 minutes.
  22. Never heard of it. Common sites for what you are looking for Cruise Mapper CruiseTimetables, Cruisedig CruiseCener
  23. Really surprised they couldn't read a png file. It pretty much opens up in a photo viewer on both apple and PC.
  24. Yes - As a Retreat Guest they can board at any time they choose.
  25. All of the 4 dining rooms predominantly have 2 Tops and 4 Tops and my experience (limited) has been that you will be seated at a table alone without others.
