Like others have suggested I believe the EU makes recommendations and member state still retain country jurisdiction. While the UK is not in EU when we flew up to Scotland from London last week very few were wearing masks in the airport or flight. I believe that is because the UK dropped all covid restrictions.

We happen to have been one of those. We were in a RS but tested one day before end of cruise at B2B testing. We were unable to get lunch and waited for 3 hours or dinner finally getting it about 9:30 PM only after raising the roof. In our case, and maybe it was all the B2B's that tested positive and the last night of the cruise but no one would even answer the Room Service Phone nor Front Desk. I'm not sure what you would do in an emergency. Thank goodness when someone delivered some documents they gave me the Retreat Hosts phone number and she came to our rescue.

Good for you. I know it will be hard to believe but that Cocktail Table book may just be one of the most talked about items in you house or decades to come as you re-tell you tale.

Interesting to hear about staying aboard. Really curious if you have any idea and how much time they give you before they dump you off the ship. It would at least be helpful to have a day or two to arrange either a hotel or onward journey home.

Curious if you have been back. While we have not been here in 3 years it has really continued to improve and there is just so much to do in the area. Last time we visited a lot on the East Coast and had a wonderful day at the Kelpies an absolutely incredible sculpture to see up close.

They are just a gathering of CC members. Usually Celebrity host with name tags (real names not cc handles), coffee, juices and pastries. Generally some crew members like Hotel Director and/or Cruise Director have a couple words and then it is free form. Some groups decided to do a gift swap bringing items representative of their home. Weather worthwhile is personal opinion but on some active roll calls it's fun to meet people you may have been chatting with for a year or more.

You can have a covid test done by any facility or drugstore that does testing, Just make sure the test type is acceptable to Celebrity. As for the home test - You don't need to go deep like the PCR. you only swab about 1/2 inside the sides of your nose. You go around 5X in each nostril.

We are somewhat lucky as some of our expense will be reimbursed by Celebrity but at this point I have no Idea how much. We will also be getting a refund for a day in quarantine plus a full refund of our cancelled cruise so will help cover our costs. We do have travel insurance but also unsure what will be covered and what won't. In our case we had already planned on spending a week in Scotland and self quarantined for the 10 day period before staying with iain's Family. I figure I'll start filing the claims when I get home and have access to a scanner.

Having tested postie on the B2B testing March 29 and getting booted off in Southampton I have quite a bit of experience on the Old Policy but for all European Sailings after May 1 they are no longer doing B2B testing and if you test positive there are a whole set of differences -- some for cruises between May 1 and May 17 and then another change for cruises from May 17 to November 2022 This link answers all the questions about both before and after the change (on page 9) Health at Sea FAQ https://creative.rccl.com/Sales/Celebrity/General_Info/CEL_Healthy_at_Sea_FAQs I've not yet read what is or isn't covered for our Greenland cruises but we should consider what insurance coverage we may need.

Yes the Burrell Collection had just re-opend and was pretty busy for was a weekday. I was amazed at how eclectic a collection and the curators have created many interactive exhibits. I was surprised that it to free. Today we went to Culzean Castle. We have been many times before but today were just hiking on the grounds. So how we lucked out with another sunny day. Incredible walking trails and all the spring wildflowers, Rhododendrons and Tulips are in bloom. Really worth a visit

You guys have me with a tear in my eye. All of you have become so much a part of my life and I feel the accolades are undeserved. We really appreciate all the kind words. Each of you were so much a part of the journey. I couldn’t resist posting some pictures and really recommend anyone visiting Glasgow to visit Pollok House Park and the Burrell Collection Museum. The grounds have beautiful gardens, paths and animals.

Actually are sailing out on Summit to Greenland and back on August 9. Final payment has been made and so far no protocol announced. Will be interesting to see what we have to do.

So sorry to read you tale. It must be a nightmare of a roller coaster experience. You are with us in our good thought we are sending your way. I hope there is a rainbow 🌈 just waiting to shine on you.

Definitely missed the news. I read about many who were upset by the port times being reduced dramatically and missed ports. We have been isolation after testing positive on our b2b . Sorry for the re-post.

It should also be noted that bringing guest to Luminae are on a space available basis but the Maitre 'd will work with you about the best timing to avoid over crowding or other guests having to wait.

I wanted to thank all of you who have been along for this journey. I think it is time to bring this live post to an end. I've loved all the chatter and "of topic" discussions. I've added about 15 books to be wish list. I really feel like we have made some good friends here and hope our paths cross at some. The rest of our times is going to mostly be family time. It does. It sounds like they covered a total of 5 days for you and then an additional 2 as a good will. I only had one day quarantine on board so thinking I might get 4 days coverage and hopefully some good will. At least I have an idea in my mind which will really help me as a person testing positive before the May 1 change of policy

That sound really good for a Covid Case prior to May 1. Can you remind us how many days you were quarantined on the ship prior to disembarkation. I was trying to get an idea of how many days from initial diagnosis to the number of days allowed.

Last night we walked to Iain’s sisters (about a mile away) to see some of the Grand nieces. Beautiful night for walking. This far north the sun is up around 4:30 AM and sets at 9:30 PM Tulips are in full bloom Don’t get lost. And finally Bruno the brute.

All I can say is that on Silhouette out of FLL that it was a mess at the pier as all had to apply prior to sailing or not permitted on the ship. While I don't have any knowledge of sailing out of Port Liberty I wAould assume they will do much like they did for Portugal Passenger Locator. On the ship with or without an internet account you can access the site to fill out the form at no charge for the internet. From the internet cafe and stations setup in the "Meeting Place" terminals and printers were available. Filling in the information is relatively simple and you have to use a credit card to pay the $40 pp fee. You are required to have the form regardless if you plan on leaving the ship or not. The form must be submitted no earlier than 2 days prior to arrival, so for these cruises will have to be done at sea. One Warning - If you do your own test or if Celebrity tests you make sure you open your test results and save it as non-protected file. The pdf attached are password protected and Bermuda can't open to verify without the password - password for Navica is 4 digit birth date and the Ships test is your Passport Number
