  1. Sounds close to our go to spot. 🤫
  2. 2 main included options... Snack Shacks - chicken sandwiches, mozzarella sticks, funnel cakes Chill Grill/Skipper's Grill - identical buffets with a taco bar (freshly made tortillas), hot sandwiches, burgers, hot dogs, salads, fruit, cookies, brownies, soft serve I'm a big fan of both the snack shack food and the taco bar. Wife's favorite dessert hack is to fill a plastic drinking cup with vanilla soft serve and then crumble the chocolate chip cookies into it. Some add a brownie at the bottom.
  3. You don't. As you said, you get an arrival time.
  4. That’s odd. It’s not the MDR. It’s treated like a specialty restaurant as far as reservations for dinner go. On my most recent cruise I asked for every night at 6pm & one night at 7pm & that’s what we were given.
  5. Any time you want during dinner hours (something like 5-9pm).
  6. They were going to run out of the old clear ones at some point. That point seems to be in the weeks following your cruise.
  7. Ignore the reviews and form your own opinions. Even more negativity in forum-land these days than usual. FWIW, I had an amazing cruise (as usual) on Wonder in June and can't wait to go back on her 3 times between March and July. If Allure was doing 7-nighters from PC I'd have happily booked Allure (my BIL/SIL and nieces had a great time on her last summer). Since my wife is a teacher, we almost always sail on full/nearly-full Oasis class ships. The crowds don't bother us. The 6000+ people are pretty well spread out. The main pool is the one area that we find to be overcrowded but we also never hang out there (no kids and need shade so we prefer the Solarium). Congrats on the RoyalUp to Sky Class! As long as you're OK with the price you paid, you'll love the perks! Highly recommend making Coastal Kitchen reservations for every night you're not doing specialty dining. It's MUCH better than the MDR, IMO.
  8. I'm just thankful they don't ask about my mental wellness.
  9. GL! If you have any leftovers... 😋
  10. Rubber band junk sandwich? Sounds yummy! 🤣 Guess I misunderstood. Hope they're rubber band free!
  11. I used to book almost nothing but GTY's and that was my experience exactly.
  12. You should be able to watch it one way or another. They actually have a mix of channels.
  13. Pretty much required, not recommended. No reservations for breakfast or lunch. It varies from ship to ship, the concierge will give you instructions once onboard, but basically yes, the concierge will escort you off the ship. On Wonder in June it worked as you described and there were a few time choices. You should receive an e-mail from them 5-8 days before your cruise. I wouldn't rely on them for excursions; hopefully you have those booked much farther in advance. We only really used them pre-cruise for CK reservations, to make sure the CK staff was made aware of my niece's severe food allergies, and to have our balcony separators unlocked since we were traveling as an extended family with 3 side by side GS's. Feel free to ask them anything you can think of. Yes, the concierges are usually there for a few hours in the morning and then late afternoon/evening. The SL is open 24/7. There is a self-serve espresso machine for making coffee, lattes, cappuccinos, etc. Continental breakfast is served every morning. There are usually snacks in the afternoon. There is a 3-hour nightly happy hour with an open bar as well as snacks (5-8pm or so). You also get free beer, wine, Truly, hard cider, soda, bottled water from SL bar from 11-11 daily. Of course! That covers a lot of it. If a show or experience is sold out, the suite concierges may or may not be able to get you spots. Enjoy Sky Class! We're not normally suite people but we had an amazing time taking advantage of the perks when we were in Sky Class.
  14. I have to revisit it. I'm such a fan of the snack shack chicken sandwich and making tacos (they're really not special but I rarely eat anything close to Mexican at home b/c of my picky wife) that I haven't tried the Cuban since my first trip there.
  15. Insanely good price you got but you already knew that. Wonder has a premium, of course, and my cruises are inflated by Spring Break and Summer, but I'm seeing assigned interiors north of $2Kpp for my cruises that are 7-11 MONTHS out, lol.
  16. There will be fat somewhere in the hunk of roast beef, nature of the beast (see what I did there?). You shouldn't be given a slice with a huge piece of fat in it of course, but it's also not filet mignon. Hope the family enjoys them. If not... plenty of other stuff to eat as you know. I actually like the paninis at Park Cafe better than the Kummelweck, especially the Cuban... as long as they actually press them long enough to become crispy.
  17. I’d always give everything another try… especially given that it’s included. If you still don’t like it, move on. Not every piece of roast beef will be a good one, not every panini will be crispy enough (even though my wife basically asks them to burn hers), etc.
  18. At least the Kummelweck is there all cruise... and they were good on Wonder in June so don't lose all hope.
  19. That's why I tried to be the 1st guy, lol, but I didn't steal all the shrimp, I swear!
  20. My embarkation day tradition after that, which seemed to be on every ship, was paella... and sadly they didn't have that either on Wonder in June. Somehow I survived and found plenty to eat, of course, but I did enjoy the paella when it was freshly made.
