  1. Were in the lowly D+ group ( but closer to P ) and there’s no way I the drink 5 drinks a day and let’s not forget the bottles of wine we get too….. 🤪
  2. Decks 17 & 18 are the suite area which requires you to scan your card to get in. Deck 18 is where the bar and pool/hot tub with plenty of seating are located. Deck 17 is where the suite lounge and coastal kitchen are located.
  3. Grand suites and above on Wonder are all on the top two floors of the ship. The only reason we went down was if we felt like walking around, specialty dining or to see the shows. Otherwise we stayed in the suite area. Does this sound the same as NCL?
  4. If we already received the stock credits on upcoming cruises and sell the stock, do you know what happens to the credits we already received?
  5. For me yesterday I got locked out before I even updated the app. Now today with the new password, the web says my password is bad….im still logged in the app though….for now
  6. Well…. I just tried to go into Royal on the web and it said my password isn’t correct….this is after I changed it last night. I give up. I’m not going in until whatever is going on is corrected. Very annoying Royal!
  7. I never get logged out of the app. I do log off the web each time I go there, but the app is always connected.
  8. I had one of those long auto passwords from Apple, so I just took off the last letter from the password and it worked.😁
  9. That’s exactly what I did on both Royal and Celebrity. Both me and DH got locked out of both accounts.
  10. I came here to this site to see why neither me or my DH can’t get into Celebrity on either the app or the website. I guess it looks like we’ll need to create new passwords? we both have Apple products.
  11. There’s a drink area in the Solarium too EDIT to add there’s also a bar inside Solarium
  12. I was able to make all our show reservations in the planner on the web prior to boarding on our Wonder cruise in January
  13. Like most here on this thread, I couldn’t read the article in its entirety. Which is fine because I had no intention of reading it anyway. Things like that reinforce why I don’t read or watch news stories or TV. All one persons negative inflated opinion just to get attention, and we have much more of that than we need.
  14. That’s about how long ours was….the second time we did that tour, which was a bit different, we got back to much later than we were scheduled to get back. Luckily it was a Royal tour so the ship waited for us and left the port as soon as we all got back on the ship.😳
  15. Im not sure what your tour includes, but we did a full day tour back in 2016 that included a high speed boat past the Amalfi coast, a visit to Capri and finally Pompeii. It was fabulous. We had an excellent tour guide in Pompeii and we got to see everything. We went there another time and got to see more. Last year when we stopped in Naples port we did Herculaneum. Not as much to see, but from what we were told, there’s miles of ruins under the city and no way can they get to them.
  16. Having the Key or a royal excursion would be the only way we would get off. The first time we went we did an excursion. Last year when we were on Odyssey we had no excursion planned so we enjoyed the empty ship overlooking the beautiful view of Santorini.
  17. I couldn’t even watch the whole video….The woman sounded entitled. Everyone should be inconvenienced because they came back late. That would set a precedent that cruise lines don’t want to do for many obvious reasons. This is why especially on remote islands one should consider taking a ship excursion.
  18. Oh boy do we remember that! Although we’re not hard of hearing, between the noise machine and my earplugs I didn’t hear it at night.i didn’t mind the horn as much as I did the fog which impaired us from seeing any northern lights….if there were any.
  19. As others have said here I’m sure, find a good TA to get you a refundable group rate and book as far out as you can to get the best price. We prefer the Europe to US route better because instead of losing the 6 hours along the way, you gain the 6 hours! Sea days are my favorite, there’s plenty to do, they usually have guest lectures and lots of activities, or you can just sit on deck or on your balcony and read a book The food sometimes reflects the region but mostly is just the regular menu, which is fine for us. We used to always eat in the MDR, but find it’s actually better in the WJ because there’s more choices and you can eat when you want. I sometimes book our own flights to Europe and arrange the transfers to our pre-cruise accommodations…last year our TA returned to Florida so we took Amtrak home from Ft Lauderdale. This year we’re doing 2 world cruise legs so our TA did the air travel thru Air2Sea. We’re also doing Odyssey TA back to Cape Liberty in November, and I booked our flight to Rome, my TA booked our A2S back to Florida from NJ. So whichever way is easiest for you will work. EDIT to add that if you book your flights thru Royal, you don’t have to pay for them until final payment, so if you need to cancel, there’s no penalty. Something to consider when booking so far out.
  20. Were originally from LI and we had the same thing with the seagulls…..and funny that one day in Epcot when I ordered the fish and chips in the England place and was carrying it to the table a seagull (or some other big white bird) flew in from behind me and stole one of the fish filets right off my tray!
  21. Last October we did the “modified” Holy Land cruise that stopped in Kusadasi and we also did the Ephesus tour! That was probably the highlight of the whole cruise, way better than we ever could have anticipated! We loved Turkey!
  22. The ship was so small! But not built like they are now. In fact, on day 1 we saw a sun deck in the front of the ship (I think it was front) and it took me all week to find it. I couldn’t figure out how to get there. And in our cabin there were two fold down bunks, one on the side and the other under the porthole…..that was my bunk which I fell out of twice due to the rough seas 😜 Very memorable cruise.
