We were on Odyssey for 27 days which included a TA with many days at sea and we never turned the TV on at all 😳but we dont watch much at home either

thats one reason we would only book a GS on a newer ship that has voom included, a suite lounge with a bar and CK. I know, were spoiled but have only done it a couple of times. Its just too expensive.

Yes, but thats body wash, which of course can be used as hand soap, but awkward to have to always go in the shower to get soap

Even in a grand suite there’s no liquid hand soap in the bathroom. They do supply upgraded shampoo and, conditioner

So if two people book a cruise at the double rate, and then call and remove person #2, does that person get a refund and then person #1 doesn’t have to pay what a solo cruiser usually pays and also gets double points?

Well now thanks for bursting THAT bubble of thinking Royal would actually spring for microscopic diamond chips 😁🤪

Upon taking out my pin which has never come off the card it came in, and looking at it with a microscope (not really), it appears there 6 tiny diamonds! I could be wrong, I could only see little sparkles when I put it in the light 🤪

We have been to Kotor ( don’t miss the sail in and the sail out), but hadn’t been to Split. So…last year when the World Cruise segments opened, I immediately had our awesome TA book us a B2B on Serenade. which will have stops in both those ports as well as other stops in Croatia and Malta, which I had planned to visit Hagar Qim, which I was so excited to see….but Royal changed the port in Malta so that excursion was cancelled unfortunately. I’ll be sending positive vibes to you so you can do your cruise on Voyager. EDIT to correct that I did rebook an excursion in Malta that WILL be visiting Hagar Qim after all! I don’t know how I missed that. EDIT

Ours have 4 microscopic diamonds.🤪 At least I think they’re diamonds, so small I can hardly see them. Now they’re plastic?

So I tried to log in again this morning. Last time I did, I had to create a new password. That was April 30. I haven’t logged in since that day. This morning I tried to log in and had to create a new password AGAIN! So far every time I log in I need to do this. It’s not funny anymore. Does Anyone have any idea why this is happening? It all started in April when everyone else was having the same problem, but for me it’s persisted. And it’s getting very annoying.

I’m like your wife, I never use all my vouchers, and on longer cruises, even DH can’t use them all, so I either use a couple for soda, water or better yet, we ask our room steward what they would like. Last time he wanted beer, so we ended up getting him enough cans of Fosters that he and his cabin mate could share.

We try - and I use that word with crossed fingers and a nice smile - to use our BOGOs for specialty dining for lunch, because we won’t have dinner those nights, especially me! Some ships allow it, others don’t. Congratulations on the D+!

How do you have dinner at 6pm in the MDR?

I also enjoy snacking, but if I did it before dinner, I won’t be hungry enough for that. I’ve always said I eat like an infant…small portions but all day 😁

We were booked on the Holy Land on Odyssey last year. Our cruise was starting October 15….. you know what happened. At such short notice they changed the whole cruise, changed the name of the cruise, took away 3 ports, gave us 4, got excursions online for us to book. It was amazing what they did. Although we never made it to Jerusalem of course, we had a fabulous time in spite of the whole reason for the cruise changed. The changes they made were just as ancient, but maybe not as “holy” as Israel would have been. Have a wonderful time and don’t miss Ephesus!

Maybe there won’t be as much excitement because some - like us - that love the smaller ships will have moved on to other lines and realized they didn’t know what they were missing.

There’s been talk of celebrity and royal merging some of the loyalty benefits. I’m hoping for the 5 drinks

Once we hit D+ 340, we still considered thinking about P status, but thenRoyal changed their focus, for us at least, and although we have enough cruises booked to reach 500, we realized P status won’t get us that much more than we need, so we’re now booking Celebrity and plan to look outside of the RCCL bubble.
