  1. could we please have a link to this official information?
  2. you are supposed to lay them down on a white sheet instead of holding them up. 🙂
  3. Perhaps, the adult grandsons could pay for their own passports...
  4. since 6 month old babies cannot do art projects, theme parties or group games, I would assume that it doesn't mean them.
  5. and you are sure the final price is lower than what you booked? I repriced my cruise a couple of weeks ago and saved $400 off of the original price (no OBC, though). A week later this "great sale" with OBC started, but, alas, the base price increased, so even with OBC the overall price is higher than what I repriced it to. take screenshots for your CVP. It took mine a couple of days to get to it because she was in all day training.
  6. I would do this. Heck, when we bought a stand alone wifi package for 1 device, all three of us shared it just fine. DH checked in with work a couple of times a day, I checked the email once in a while and checked in with the petsitter, and kid played an occasional game on the phone/Switch using wifi. We cruise to cruise, not to spend 24/7 on our respective devices. We can do that at home for $70 a month.
  7. On our upcoming cruise we got an approval 4 weeks before the cruise. Our cruise is now fully sold out. In the past - much closer to the sailing.
  8. we got covid on 2 out of 6 cruises (June 2022 and April 2024).
  9. you could upload on youtube and then post the link to it
  10. what's with the crazy amount of unrelated quotes?
  11. our first time booking with VT, but just in case I looked up some hotels around - and Embassy Suites seems to have rooms available. So, we'll just walk over. Crowne and Comfort suites also have availability at this time.
  12. JamieLogical had a pretty bad experience a couple of weeks ago: https://boards.cruisecritic.com/topic/3004747-jamielogicals-live-from-the-enchanted-princess-54/page/5/
  13. it's the age. Mine was sick all the time from the time he started preschool at 4 and until about 2nd grade. He started cruising when he was 3 and only got sick on a cruise once, and it was our own friends' kid who got him sick (their kid was still sick when they boarded the ship with us). I do make sure to give him his regular vitamins and probiotics every day on the cruise, and take ALL imaginable meds with us as well. He also never sucked on his fingers. Oh, the "funny" thing is - we got covid on a cruise twice already, but our kid didn't.
  14. Princess has the same situation with gratuities as NCL... since you asked this same question last year on NCL board: https://boards.cruisecritic.com/topic/2965822-daily-service-fees/
  15. we once ended up in a connecting (guarantee) cabin. Ugh. The other cabin had a toddler who screamed his head of every night for at least an hour.... It was a lot more audible because of the connection between the cabins.
  16. that's if you are not experiencing a medical emergency or are otherwise incapacitated and can't fend for yourself.
  17. if you have more than 2-3 people, it may make sense to take an uber to the port. There were 5 of us staying at the Hampton Inn Suites Blue Lagoon and we took an xl uber (5 of us, 3 suitcases) for $27 plus tip.
  18. we bought it online and didn't have to deal with anyone "playing dumb"
  19. I would get this and call it a day. That's what we did when DH needed it for his work (although it was before the price hike and cost us a lot less). If neither of you drinks alcohold, than it's a no brainer - $60 pppd for the first 2 people in the cabin isn't worth it. perhaps, she could just use free wifi at ports? or pay $10 per day for ATT or whatever plan you have on port days?
  20. they were excellent on Enchanted. My kid drank his weight's worth of sodas and mocktails every day... His favorites were zero mojito and Key West cooler. The adult version of the Key West cooler is the Ultimate cooler. Also, he discovered that adding mint and lime to a regular coke makes a great tasting mocktail. Zero Miami Vice is great. Some of the venues also have additional mocktails on their menu, aside from the main ones.
  21. my kid watched all of these production shows when he was 11. Nothing was inappropriate, unlike Grease on RCI or one of the musicals on NCL Getaway back in 2018. I disagree. I loved it and I was 48 and not a gamer at all. My 11 yo wasn't impressed just because he doesn't care about singing or dancing all that much, and he didn't care that it was "video game adjacent". I didn't see anyone walk out... Now, tons of people walked out of Cats on Oasis, including us...
