  1. It is the MSC Foundation Marine Conservation Center. Here is a video of the groundbreaking about a year ago. Last I was there it looks like they completed part of it. Not sure what they have left.
  2. MSC does not have a true "Boarding Pass" even though it says so at the end of your online check-in. If you received something called your e-ticket and the second or third page is something called an Embarkation Form, that is what you need. Bret
  3. Yes, through a Bahamian carrier so there would be roaming charges depending on your carrier and plan. Bret
  4. Just curious...you do realize that what they give you back comes out of their commission, right? How much of your salary do you give back to your clients/customers?
  5. Me too. I'm sitting at 61,600 points. And that was not Status Matched. 🙄 Bret
  6. The wording there is old verbiage. It is no longer combinable as it was in the beginning. The term Healthcare Heroes Offer was the original discount plan. Terms have changed. Bret
  7. I have always used nine 9's and any random date in the future and it worked fine.
  8. FYI, many clients have cruised that itinerary without one on MSC. Just sayin'. I always recommend a passport though so it would have been on them if there was an issue. That sailing is not considered a Panama Canal sailing as it does not go through the Canal.
  9. I have had guests take that exact cruise previously with only birth certificate and ID and had no issues. Bret
  10. Love Tubi. You can just use as a guest. However, if you want to save watched shows, create a list to watch in the future or get recommendations, you'll need to sign up. No credit card required so no fees of any kind.
  11. So do I. Regular texting did not work.
  12. Just as a caveat to this. If her passport shows her last name as Lopez Smith, the booking will automatically revert to that when she checks in at the terminal. The little known fact is that it honestly doesn't matter what is on your reservation up until then as their system will change it automatically to match the passport when it is manually swiped at the pier. So in the example in this case, hopefully Smith is the only name in the Surname field. At least this has been my experience with MSC over the past years with all my group guests. But we know MSC stands for Most Surely Changes. Bret
  13. Your documents usually leave the state blank even if you populate the state in your web check in. It's a non-issue and a known problem with their eDocs. As long as you were able to generate your documents, don't worry about it and have a great cruise. Bret
  14. When this happens, it usually means the booking name was slightly different. Try the first and middle name in the first name field when logging in to see if that helps. My guess, as mentioned above, is there are two numbers out there now. Bret
  15. Yes. A PCR test is a type of NAAT test. Bret
  16. Think you will be fine. As you know their internal system is a bit tricky. When you change a promo, the old info shows in a "cancelled" tab and the new info in a separate one. So it may be picking up stuff from the canceled one but getting the Stateroom info on the correct tab. As a TA I sometimes get panicked when I first go into a res like that and don't realize it's on the old info tab. Bret
  17. The OP's literal question was "What time can you stay on the ship until ?". So I do think the discussion was about late disembarkation. Bret
  18. Just disembarked the Divina today. Last people off were scheduled at 9:00 AM. Requesting out of cabins by 7. Bret
  19. Just got off the Divina today with no middle name listed. Not an issue. Bret
  20. Yacht Club cabins always have a non-refundable deposit. Nothing in the T&C states NR for others. Rates are cruise only per person based on double occupancy and quoted in USD. The lead rate of $199 is for Category BB on select 3-night cruises on MSC Divina. Offer is valid for U.S. residents only and on new bookings only. Government fees, taxes and port charges are additional for each guest. Offer is capacity-controlled, subject to availability, and can be withdrawn at any time with prior notice. Offer is not applicable to group bookings and cannot be combined with any other promotion. One (1) of the following discounts may be applied as applicable per stateroom: MSC Voyagers Exclusives; Healthcare Workers; Civil Service; Military; Interline. MSC Cruises reserves the right to pass on any fuel surcharge without prior notice to all guests and refuse to honor any prices/sailings that are erroneously printed or quoted. Cruise deposit: 0-4 nights: $99 per adult (max $198 per stateroom); 5-14 nights: $199 per adult (max $398 per stateroom). Kids 17 and under sail free on select sailings as 3rd/4th guests, MSC Yacht Club staterooms excluded, subject to availability (excluding Government fees and taxes). Onboard Credit: 2-4 nights – $100 per stateroom on Balcony; Suites & MSC Yacht Club. 5-9 nights – $200 per stateroom on Balcony; Suites & MSC Yacht Club. 10 nights & longer – $500 per stateroom on Balcony; Suites & MSC Yacht Club. Inside and Oceanview categories excluded. Onboard Credit can be used onboard the ship and on our exclusive private island, Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve. Onboard credit is nonrefundable, nontransferable, and cannot be redeemed for cash. Other restrictions may apply.
  21. Go with the video. Your agent should have known that the phone reps at MSC have no way of knowing which cabins are in what configuration and most likely relied on a generic picture for that category. As an agent that has dealt with MSC for over 14 years, I learned the hard way. Bret
  22. If your cabin is still showing a GTY instead of a cabin assignment, yes that is the reason. At least that is the general rule for US sailings. Bret
  23. Sad to hear he retired. Loved him. Was willing to help anyone and didn't let his position get to his head. Bret
  24. Just checked several clients documents for Seashore and Divina for upcoming sailings. That wording regarding no cash at Guest Services is not there and none of my contacts at MSC are aware of any changes. "Cruise Card Activation Points are available on board to register credit/debit/pre-paid cards. Bring your credit/debit card and PIN code and ensure your card is enabled for use abroad. To avoid issues with payment, advise your banking institution and credit card providers of foreign travel prior to your cruise. Also, make sure your contact information is current in the event your bank or credit card provider needs to contact you to authorize charges." Bret
  25. Yep. Got the same one. My guess is the research company failed to make a new email address for MSC. Bret
