Breast cancer survivor here as well. Certainly understand the emotions. Mine recurred in 2018 and still under treatment and surviving. Attitude is everything!

Yes! We were on board as well. Never saw an available pool lounger the entire trip. Ocean View cafe was a zoo for breakfast and lunch. Did not enjoy the crowds but it is what it is.

To travel these days without trip/travel insurance is a no brainer. Several years ago DH was disembarked to hospital in Cork, Ireland. Spent 10 days in hospital for tests and a procedure. Trip insurance covered just about everything but my Guinness every night. Like AmX, you don’t leave home without it. Seriously it really is cheap insurance compared to total trip cost.

We have sailed with captain Tasos a few times. Last time, and his, was on Equinox when he did his “last dance” as we departed the port. He is a character and a gentleman for sure. Always a fun trip to sail with him or his brother. Lots of good memories and fun times.

IS the crew still tested for COVID?!

We board the 13th as well. Will be interesting to say the least. Last sailing was November so we will see the changes just a few months later.

Yes I’m that old to remember my grandmother making Czarnina! And I loved it with of course a slice of rye bread from a great bakery. Those days are long gone but great memories. Thanks for the memories 🎼.

Hi Jim and I’m joining late to the party. I’ve been away due to eye surgery! We lived in SoCal for 31 years, LA county, and sailed the Mexican Riviera cruise many many times. Will be following along to hear your observations about how things are now. We left Diamond Bar for the beaches of Delaware and left friends in Irvine. Safe travels to you both. Marie

We stayed at the Hilton pre-cruise and it was a great location in Puerto Madero. Walking distance to some great restaurants and sites. We also took the tour at end of cruise to the ranch and airport drop off. I would do it again. Best steaks in Buenos Aires and a tour of the cemetery is a must. Contact tours by locals. They are great to work with. Also suggest you find your roll call for the sailing and ask. Roll calls are a great resource. Enjoy!

Currently on summit. Capt announced a few minutes ago that Port of Miami will reopen early tomorrow morning!

We are currently on Summit. This morning Captain announced Port of Miami closed and will keep us updated as he receives info from port. We are still proceeding to Miami. Fingers crossed!

We are currently on Summit heading for Cozumel arriving tomorrow and Miami arrival on hopefully Thursday!? Have AA flight on Thursday at 2 pm. Have heard Royal has canceled a few sailings. Keeping fingers eyes toes crossed Nicole takes her time! Just need to get to PHL but this is exactly why you get travel insurance!!🍷🛳

Looking at flights from Amsterdam. If the ship arrives at 6 am, would it be possible to make a 10:55 am flight back to the states. It’s a nonstop. Suggestions welcomed. Thanks!

Yes a very fun group on roll call. SAGA Travel was excellent. Used them for all of our tours in both Iceland ports.

We were also lucky enough to be on the cruise with Dr Koob and his special arrangements for dinner one night at Lawn Club Grill. This was one of our best overall cruises.

I second that. I tested positive at a lab. Asked my dr for the letter even though I called and advised them. Nope he didn’t do the test.

On our last cruise it was an additional charge in Tuscan. Was that the case for you? Not automatically brought to your table afterwards. We had to inquire about it. This was in February on silhouette.

We’re sailing on August 6. How soon should we expect to receive the Medallion gadget.
