If SOA arrives in Portsmouth tommorow night, expect all the injured will be whisked of the ship. Will others be given opportunity. No reason for people to be kept in cabins by then. Indeed by tomorrow morning should be relatively very calm under 4m waves and diminishing rapidly.

Firstly so glad you survived. Hope this doesn't put you of cruises. My sympathy to every who was hurt, many Saga passengers don't recover as quickly as they once did. It would be ironic if SoD has to spend an extra day in harbour being cleaned and is late for our cruise, when all of this could have been avoided by waiting in the calm for a day, same result a day late, but without pain and suffering. Like Fannyliz I selfishly hope the ship is fine on Tuesday. But have spent far too much money to accept a suite that isn't perfect.

memory got me wrong. You would have Verandah above A549, which would be even noisier with hard deck than carpeted Grill. Grill inside ends further forward above A541, Grill is a bit more like mid aft. My rule is never to have cabin under or above public space. Boss says if we can't get midships don't go. We've got B028 dead midships. But with side on waves even midships can be uncomfortable.

La Corona bay once they get there should be sheltered from WSW wind and swell, tomorrow looks worst day and as has been said side on to W wind and swell. Everyone should be happy to wait in La Coruna as things settle a bit on Sunday. We will be packed and ready on Tuesday morning. But I hope if it is late that they delay pick up. We have a 7.15 to 7.45 window, won't be happy to get up at silly O'clock and then spend hours in terminal.
