  1. Thank you Debbie. I remember when I was Jonathan's age I grew a beard to try it. It never filled in well enough to keep it. I did keep the mustache. I think I've had a mustache ever since I was in my early 20's. There is a very popular Italian restaurant in Kansas City called "Garozo's" and their meatballs are the size of tennis balls. I just adopted that size. To be honest I don't remember. I don't think my mom was a fan. I had the mustache since my early 20's. I have thought about shaving it off but I'm so used to having it I think I might look weird without it. Winner Winner. Love these especially the last one. I love the extreme closeups where you can see the detail in the ropes.
  2. Looks Great! Quality is really good and very good audio. Santa was really good too! Thanks! Jonathan’s baby pictures and mine look almost identical. I’m surprised that my sauce doesn’t taste that greasy. I’m sure some of that meat fat adds some flavor. It’s not low calorie that’s for sure. I also make my meatballs big about the size of a tennis ball.
  3. What worked for me was leaving the meatballs undisturbed for at least 30-45 minutes and then stirring very gently. After about an hour I could stir the sauce normally just making sure I stirred in between the meatballs. Thank you for the update. It makes me mad that insurance will not cover it as it has proven to give good results. She will be in my thoughts. I have never had Eggnog before. Now I might have to try. Cheers!
  4. From Santa Suit to Tuxedo. Wedding last night for Linda's niece. Nice to have son Jonathan with us. Not sure I care for the beard but he is entitled to experiment.
  5. I think most people do it that way. I'm an odd ball in that I cook the meatballs the entire time in the sauce. It makes for a little softer meatball but as it's cooking some little pieces of the meatball will break into the sauce almost making the sauce a meat sauce. Very delicious.
  6. Looks delish! I cook mine all in the sauce. Do you fan fry first or let them cook entirely in the sauce? Wishing a successful procedure tomorrow Graham!
  7. Charlie and Lizzy did not attend. Santa I think did well with everyone. Some children were a little shy. It was really cool looking them in the eyes. I could tell some of them had wonderment.
  8. Wow what an honor and wonderful experience playing the role of Santa for my companies annual videotaping of Twas The Night Before Christmas read by our long time now retired anchor Larry Moore. We had over 40 children during the reading and then they were led to our garage area where I surprised them and gave out gift bags and they had cookies and hot chocolate. I'm proud that I was able to stay in character even though a lot of the staff knew who I was. I kept saying "Greg who?" I'm Santa. Here are some pics from last night's event. Santa with Charlie and Lizzy. Greeting the kids with my bell and some Ho, Ho. Ho's There's always one! And as I left I yelled ""Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good night!" and then muttered under my breath, "Elvis has left the building."
  9. Great job this is really beautiful. I rally like the frame too. I think jewelry trees look best in antique style frames.Beautiful placement of the jewelry too.
  10. Congratulations! I'm sure you will get the hang of editing with the app. Looking forward to seeing your video. I still may get one but after shelling out the money for a new go pro that fell off the ship I need to not spend a ton of money on new cameras.
  11. Getting a little nervous for my big debut tomorrow as Santa for the videotaping of my television station's annual reading of "Twas The Night Before Christmas" played back on Christmas eve and read to station employee's children by long time retired anchor Larry Moore. I got the suit and some extra padding since I lost weight. The wig and beard are kinda weird, I hope they don't itch me to death. Don't worry Linda will come along to take some photos that I will post. I just hope I can get a deep enough Ho ho ho.
  12. @HBE4 I loved seeing the pictures of you and the family. It helps me connect a name and face. What a beautiful person I can tell she is. Thank you for sharing your story with us. We will continue to love and support you as you go through the ups and downs of the grieving process. We are family and we are here for you.
  13. Congratulations on being able to see better! My heart breaks for you. What an emotional story that had me in tears. I can't imagine the pain you were in. You were incredible in your love, devotion and support of her. She is in a better place now and will forever be imprinted in your heart. Her spirit lives on. Rest in Peace.
  14. My dad had a set of 78’s that was called Norman Granz’s Jazz Scene. I believe there where 7 discs that had Jazz from Charlie Parker and Billie Holiday. It included a beautiful black and white photo book. I sold it on eBay to a collector for over $500.
  15. I wish I would have seen him before he passed. I really did not become a big fan till later in life and really started listening to the beauty of his voice. Also the bands backing him were incredible especially the Count Basie Band when Quincy Jones was writing the arrangements. Incredible!
  16. I would be just fine with that as I am a huge "Chairman of the Board" fan. Love those porcelain lighted trees. We have one from Linda's mom's. It's probably 50 years old.
  17. In case anyone missed it and is wanting to listen to some new and different Christmas music than the same Mariah Carey song over and over. Here is the post of my annual Christmas Mix for you to download. https://boards.cruisecritic.com/topic/2744452-royal-caribbean-cruisers-how-are-things-where-you-are-was-routine-%E2%80%8B-%F0%9F%98%81-%E2%80%8Bday-in-lockdown-how-was-yours/?do=findComment&comment=64369457
  18. I'm sure the price for 14 days of parking isn't cheap either. I really think a lot has to do with it being in March and spring break time. Peak tourist destination in Miami during that time. Yikes that's insane. What was your favorite restaurant all week? Bourbon selection good or bad? God I love that cat. Just beautiful and oh so adorable.
