  2. Disembarkation morning. Your cruise is over, Your diamond coupons no longer work. Get up have and early breakfast. Windjammer never opened earlier the last 7 days. Other cruisers want to get on the ship. The cabin attendant you so loved and tipped generously wants to clean your cabin for his next customer. I am always gone before my cabin attendant even shows up that morning. My last gift to them!!
  3. My experience and opinion is they are more concerned about are the sealled and do they bubble if shook. I'm mostly wine and even now with 2 bottles (there are 2 of us but how do they know that) no one says anything and no one looks at the bottles.
  4. Bottles of Wine or Champagne provide to you from the cruise line are NOT subject to a corkage fee. But like others have said I have never heard of one being charged.
  5. It is all still very ship dependent, corporate may advise, but Resturants Manager on each ship make decisions that are best for them. It's all about meeting their revenue numbers.

  12. That line specifically refers to the now $18.50 per person per day gratuity that is added daily to cover housekeeping and dining. But you'll are certainly entitled to your opinions.
  13. Your reference on not covered gratuities applies only to Sea Class, which is Jr Suites. That is why I said "Full Suites" which are Sky and Star, and have guaranteed access to CK.
  14. Depends if we are eating there because we are a full suite (then consider that as part of the price paid for the suite) or as a Pinnacle (then we think an tip at each meal is appropriate)

  17. This is definitely true, but understand the doors to Hibachi may not be open yet if you are truly one of the first to board. In addition some night may be truly sold out at some restaurants, mostly talking about Chops and 150. The key is to split up if going to wait for Hibachi, other person hits kiosk desk or other resturant with wish list, then adjust for anytime you can get Hibachi. Be flexible, you're still getting a heck of a deal compared to full price specialty dining
  18. Young children, little kids, they need to eat at approx. their regular time. As stated previously, in a suite you need to be at the theatre by 15 minutes before show time. Not sure what your ship is but , let you waiter know you have show reservation and you need to get served quickly, I'd say nothing after 5:30 dinner time.
  19. All this is where RCCL made a mistake with those Diamond Vouchers, just like the Drink Package they should not be shareable. Eventually this will lead to complete curtailment of the program. BOGO you pay for one you can invite someone to share the free one. You should not be allowed to let someone else pay/charge their set sail pass for the first one, and then get a free one on top of that.
  20. I have never had a problem applying DP340 via the web site. if the cruise is in black out dates it provides no discount, otherwise the discount is applied properly.
  21. The very reason they started to make you sign your Diamond drink vouchers. (although sometime that is even hit or miss) Be explicit every time you order from a bar or server on how you want it charged. Don't assume they will do it in any specific way if you just order.
