Jamon- we were on Divina in February and received Spumante, macaroons, and chocolate ship...plus free drawstring backpack...Diamond in Fantastica interior. Cheers! PS we board Seashore Saturday in Fantastica balcony and will report out the perks and/or lack of...for us the value is Butchers Cut free meal for 2. with easy plus drinks package...the other items are of no concern to us. Never felt "special" with any status, but darn if we are not always Thirsty😎

ChC- Awesome factual info! Looking at how RCCL performed against the other public trader cruise lines and the beating of their stock value in last couple of years... MSC might get the edge in next 2-4 years...who knows...biggest isn't correlated to best anyway. There are many great ships...want to experience them all... Still one of my most memorable experiences was on a container/freighter cruise...plus my time on warships in both Royal and US Navy.

Yes, like others I was Black Card...and my hair was not as gray back then either😃 As another irrelevant comparison, here in California the average price of a gallon of gasoline is now $5.62; but in 2016 it was $2.47!!! Hi- let's look at the facts, Diamond never received 20% discount on all cruises...only a select group of specific dates/ships/itineraries...and primarily during the height of Pandemic and other travel issues causing low bookings. Things change... MSC is on the path to becoming the largest cruise line in the World and has the newest overall fleet period. Diamond status never was like a AMEX Black Card... Like most who travel extensively, all of the hotel, airline, rental car, etc Statuses have been diluted...this is nothing new nor unexpected. No loyalty for me, just go with who provides what I want, when I want it, at a price I am willing to pay... Enjoy your cruise! Cheers!

Approved Test Negative result within 3 days of boarding at Port Miami for MSC...if adult (US Citizen, coming from another of the 48 states) that is fully vaxxed and boosted. I board Saturday on Seashore and that is what is on all my boarding paperwork. All is subject to change and there are many variables on age, locale, cruise, etc

Hi- Yes pools are open as is the buffet... MDR is not open until dinner... Speciality options vary by ship...but my experience on several in the MSC fleet..they are not open until after Muster...Sports bars included. Cheers!

As to the post that says TA had to intervene.... That is the TA's job! If you book through TA or any other 3rd patty middleman, you should only deal with that middleman. Those middlemen make $$ and are paid to do that for you... Cheers!

Hi PapHillG- Did you book direct with MSC? Then just call 877-665-4655, if not answer in 3-5 minutes...call back another time of day.Ask they to kindly look up your booking number and assist you in completing your web check in and email you the documents. Super easy and has worked for us in February and last week for our Saturday departure... Note: their website works best on Firefox on Windows based computers. Apple/ios, android, and others are <awesome. Be sure and delete all cookies and other browser noise, on FireFox that is an option you can enable that it automatically clears all when you log off. YC drink package is valid over the entire ship and Ocean Caye too. You also get unlimited use of Spa (adults). It is a nice way to travel for sure... But as others have said, the bid minimums are not always lower than if you bought/booked YC in advance...especially if you get any discounts, like Military, Educator, 1st responder, Voyagers, Casino, etc... Hi- Like any carrier, this is not a valid claim against the T&Cs you agreed to at time of booking/purchase. Make a claim with your travel insurance. There are many apps/websites that track/record ship movements, plus the port will have records of the ships arrival. Plus did you pass through any Customs, if yes they have records as well.
