    Go, it’s very scenic and the air is so fresh. The main difference I had was not laying out at the pool and wearing jeans with a t shirt and sweatshirt during the day. We had some rain. The temp in august was 65 degrees. But it can get hot there. I would take a look at the forecast before you pack.

    if you like the beach, take a cab to mullet bay or orient bay.

    You’ll notice that it’s a lot more relaxed than it used to be. It makes packing a lot easier.

    The on-board atmosphere is a lot better than you’d think by reading the message boards. We’ve cruised on celebrity since the 90s and have sailed with our son since he was 1. My son was perfectly happy and participated in the kids activities. I think Royal is better once the kids are in their teens because there are more on-board activities. Cruise with your family and enjoy.

    Watch for 3rd and 4th person free specials. Maybe they will offer them again since the ships are sailing fuller.

    I’m only booking at the last minute. My friends had insurance but still haven’t been reimbursed from their crystal cruises when they went bankrupt.

    The furnishings remind me of a newer Hampton Inn. It looks like a fun ship to try. I haven’t sailed on carnival since the 90s, but I’d like to try them again.

    The cost of fuel has tripled in a short time so I expect the cost will increase. They won’t be able to operate at a loss forever.
