  1. I like it. No need to make reservations for shows. No mobs getting on and off of the ship. If you are traveling with kids, they would probably like the activities that a larger ship offers.
  2. That would be cutting it too close for me.
  3. I love not having to take off shoes, etc. but in California, they made me take my small electronics out of my backpack. Didn’t have this happen in other states.
  4. If you pack light and your bag fits through an airport X-ray, I would carry on. You can drop the bag as soon as you get onboard.
  5. None. I unsubscribed. Most of the promos result in the same expenditure, so they just clutter your inbox.
  6. Equinox is such a fun ship. I love it. Glad you enjoyed it.
  7. Good point. I’m going to unsubscribe to them. I don’t think I’ll miss anything and my mailbox will be a lot less cluttered.
  8. Mine was in a sealed case. The porter said it wasn’t allowed. It probably depends on the porter. This was last April.
  9. Port of Baltimore wouldn’t let me bring on water. On one of the ships I was on, when I ran the sink water on a washcloth, it turned it orange. Now I mostly drink bottled water onboard.
  10. I would call again and ask for on board credit. I have definitely received on board credit for reductions after final payment. This was for an august cruise that was booked in July.
  11. I would call again. I was able to reprice my august cruise that I booked in July. I received an on board credit for the difference in price.
  12. I’ve done this before for a couple of cruises. I didn’t pick a cruise within the 90 days. I still received the on board credit and my deposits. But I don’t think I’ll do it in the future unless I know what cruise I want to book. In order to book some outside insurance, you need to do so within a certain number of days after the booking date. The day you pay your deposit is the booking date. You also can’t transfer the booking to a travel agent after 30 days.
  13. The last time I sailed from San Juan, we used Uber. I would definitely do it again or take a cab. It's no fun waiting around the airport for a bus to fill.
  14. Great review! It makes me want to book the Infinity again!
  15. Check Renaissance Marina / Hollywood Beach Marriott.
  16. I would rent a car at the port instead of a shuttle. Then you can do what you want until checkin time.
  17. Yes. Also, the fee isn’t due unless you stay over a day.
  18. I book at the last minute. They don’t usually come down much. I ended up with $78 onboard credit for a price drop on the cruise I’m on now.
  19. I heard about a week prior. I bid $25 over the minimum per person. Went from an inside guarantee to a veranda.
  20. I booked a few weeks ago. Received on board credit for the price drop amount.
  21. They have a really good chicken sandwich at a stand near chill beach. Not sure if they are at all of the food venues.
