I also love the 1As with portholes. They usually sell out quickly though. Love the couch too. -
Diamond and Platinum Guest Confirmation Letter

I only tried the main lobby bar where I had received it before. I was not charged for using the one in the cabin. -
Diamond and Platinum Guest Confirmation Letter

They stopped allowing this on the Splendor a couple of weeks ago. Told us to use the ones in the room. -
I have had a similar experience overnighting in Montreal overnight. Not worth the hassle and expense of getting a hotel. You will need to collect your luggage as they don't store luggage in the secure area overnight. In Montreal the only place open at night was Tim Hortons. I didn't try to sleep but people watched. You would be surprised at how many people do this and at 4 AM the airport was buzzing again.

Anyone else shocked at price increases?
maryann2 replied to firefly333's topic in Carnival Cruise Lines
Carnival had no solo supplement fares on Splendor. not Spirit though. Really low prices. I went in July and did it again in August. No flights needed. Do wish they sailed out of Vancouver though. -
It was more relaxed than dinner time. This was Alaska though and no-one wearing shorts. Check the Hub app once onboard and see if it available. As I said not advertised or able to book before boarding. We did not pay until the day of the brunch.

Just available the last day which happened to be a sea day. Not well advertised. Heard about it at the Diamond reception.

Yes we booked on the Hub app. Yes starter entree and dessert, also salad if you wanted it and several sides offered..

Another thing that has started is brunch on the last day in the steakhouse. We booked for 12 noon and it is a wonderful menu. Cost $25 We were able to use our free Diamond/Platinum drink.

Just returned from the Splendor and asked about the free wine first and second night and was told all is well. No plans to discontinue it. -

Try Costa or MSC for Istanbul. Honestly sailing in and out of Istanbul is beautiful as of course is sailing in and out of Venice. I'm glad that I was able to see St Petersburg before this conflict. My first visit to Istanbul was in 1973 on a Black Sea cruise. Also visited Odessa Yalta and Sochi. That ship sailed from Constanza, Rumania. It was amazing. Our Russian visas at that time were on a slip of paper inside our passports. If it was stamped in our passport we would not have been allowed to enter the USA. -
I used the chat feature on the Pride and Splendor. Both times it only worked occasionally. Very unreliable. Ended up leaving phone messages on the room phones.

Online check in is driving me insane!

Sounds like your flights home are too early to be "Legal" Just remove your flights and as others have said let guest services know on board that you need early debarkation. -
So glad it has cooled down. Enjoy embarkation day.
