    The 1As with portholes are great cabins. They used to be sold at 150% for solos which was a great deal instead of 200% now.. Can be noisy if the sea is rough with waves banging on the hull but not always. Also can be noisy entering port. My daughter and I have shared them a few times with the couch made up as a single bed. Treble the size of the insides on Celebration.

    Sorry to hear this. I have used them for tours in Spain and also in Lisbon. I like the fact that they collect the payment when you book so that the person who arranges the tour does not need to collect it.

    I have used Fly2fun for one way flights to Europe many times with great savings. I don't see any benefits using them for North American flights though. I like the fact that they are refundable and not charged until final payment.

    Not so sure that it helps the bottom line though. Many cruisers, especially solos, are jumping ship. Other lines are much more affordable than Carnival now. I agree they are clueless.

    I wish people would stop bragging about their casino rates. When solos would have to pay $4000 Shocking prices for most.

    Might add that I am able to use the Carnival hub app in Europe. In UK and Spain etc. Worked on Carnival Pride , Carnival Celebration and Carnival Venezia.

    I can confirm that the Costa app does not work on North American phones. I usually use the whattsapp plan on board to keep in touch with people at home. Works well with excellent connection. Just cannot access Costa app.

    I can confirm that the Costa app does not work on N..American phones. On the Toscana this March we were told that Costa is working on it. I was able to scan the menus at breakfast for the whole day.

    Thank you for sharing your experience staying on board throughout this. I also travel solo most of the time and can understand how lonely it can be. Hopefully you have a good day in Belfast. The Giant's Causeway is beautiful. Enjoy an Irish coffee at the hotel / restaurant there.. Yes you can purchase gift cards at the Cherry on the Top which can be used for future cruises.

    Current events. Finland joined NATO on April 3rd 2023. Sweden approved to join just this week.

    The fridges on Venezia are very very cold. Freeze water bottles.

    Easy to do by public transport. Walk to the bus station and catch the bus. Beautiful place.

    Hotels will also arrange taxis for you when you are ready to leave. Taxis are not expensive in Barcelona. Often small though so make sure there is room if you have lots of luggage .
