  1. Last morning of the cruise. Did the OP mean first day or last day ?
  2. I hear ya , these issues really P!$$ me off as well , but when I think of all the enjoyment/relaxation/rejuvenation that comes from cruising (for me)... There is no single issue that can ruin that for me . As much as I enjoy the dining aspect of a cruise , and see how many ways it is and has changed for the worse over the years , Still so much I enjoy that the experience is priceless. Hmmm.... Priceless ? Well , that's another issue I guess , whether I get priced out by the wild price hikes as of late Cheers
  3. ^^^^Agreed 100% ^^^^ They actually had it as an announcement the last day we left the windjammer at lunch I found it all a little confusing. The whole thing comes off as an annoying guilt trip. I cruise with a great attitude towards staff and understand how hard they work , but that should speak for itself without the lecture ... If they don't do a good job , that needs to be addressed .The more I read people bring it up , the more it makes me rethink my approach Cheers
  4. We actually really liked the Aqua as well. Not saying it was the best we have seen but in my opinion doesn't have to be the best to still be amazing just the same . We went back on the last night and took the son of new friends we had made on the sailing to offer them some time to themselves. It was pretty cool as they were transitioning in some new cast members so it was actually noticably different. The main girl from the first show was actually sitting right behind us cheering on her replacement ... I t was awesome. Some of the special effects in Effectors was enough to make it worth seeing , but definitely more geared to the kids Cheers
  5. Hmmmm..... Processing , processing ...? Alright . So any Pinnacles wanna have a fit , vibrant , good lookin (IMHO) 53 yr old gentleman companion for a week ? Let's get this ball rollin ! LOL Cheers
  6. So no staff ever questions whether or not you are suposed to be there ?
  7. Always interesting (and welcome) how different people see things different ways. We were on in February and felt the ice show was the best we'd ever seen . Other shows were all just good , nothing mindbendind though I guess I'm also assuming it was the same ice show with same cast ... can't remember what it was called Cheers
  8. So logistically ... How do you get to your cabin? As in , are you escorted back? Can you come and go ? How does the crew recognize to know you are allowed ? Very curious as we are considering B2B , but as of yet have only hopped off one ship to hop on another same day ... And that was a nightmare , did not happen anything like the smooth transition we were assured we would have Cheers
  9. Heck , maybe we could even remarry on the ship and make it a onestop shop for the LA to get everything sorted properly for us ! Cheers
  10. I'm kinda thinking I'm young enough still to "divorce" my lovely wife long enough to take a cruise with a new significant D+ other , gain the status and retie the knot with lovely wife and our new benefits going forward should more than make up for the legal headaches and hassles Cheers
  11. Right now they are thinking that with their ships currently running at overbooked they are going to try all and every method they believe can save them a penny .... when the pendulum swings back the other way they will make adjustments. That's the reality of it Cheers
  12. You wouldn't have had to argue it ... merely point it out Cheers
  13. Otherwise known as the BRIG ? Is that what happens when you complain? :) What exactly is the "private dining area" ? Cheers
  14. but it's not the $50K... as thats not refundable, (not a loss to RCI)... However the onboard spend is a lot for sure ! Cheers
  15. There is definitely some beauty here but funny how no matter where we live we will spend thousands to be somewhere else Cheers
  16. To 'live'or not to 'live' THAT is the question ... Cheers
  17. So a question for you on this Are you saying that on a B2B you are allowed to go back to your cabin ? Cheers
  18. Hmmmm... Calling that a western itinerary is even more foolish than calling it Southern
  19. I feel OP may have made an error ... that is clearly a Eastern cruise. And I agree , An actual Southern is my clear cut fave as well !! Cheers
