  1. We have stayed at both and they are both excellent properties. The "five minute" walk is if you walk real real slow. We even borrowed a cart from the valet and took our own luggage across the street. Doubt they will do that today. Depending on when you get in and if it makes a difference for view vs price, take the one with the best view room. The elevator down to check in is pretty sweet.
  2. To many moving parts. Book them in their own room with their own reservation number. Then when they back out or have a family emergency and can't go it's easy.
  3. Yes, we were just on the Navigator and it was night two. We took our granddaughters who love to dress up to MDR and they had a ball. I wore slacks, tie and sport coat DW wore a black dress.
  4. No luck mine still show, "Sorry we cannot reserve this right now." That's for Wonder Thanksgiving.
  5. When are they going back to the Wonder? We sail her for Thanksgiving.
  6. Exactly what we did and it worked out fine. Don't stop at the table selling dinner/dining packages just go straight to the MDR.
  7. On Navigator in July I went to MDR as soon as we boarded and was able to change my time for the entire cruise. We didn't request a specific table as there were four of us and we just took what was available when we got there.
  8. Did both on Navigator in July. Dinner at Jamie's the food was excellent probably the best food we had on the ship. Service was horribly slow and disjointed. I think they were training new people. Jamie's had an ocean view. Playmakers is a sports bar, pub food was good, onion rings really good. Never really crowded, no ocean view but plenty of people watching.
  9. Buy it, that's a cheap price. I just paid $68 for a four night on Navigator and $72 for Wonder during Thanksgiving. Wonder has been between $68 and $78. Halloween sale was $68. Labor Day sale was $72, but it had gone to $78 the week before and than came down for the "SALE" to $72.
  10. The discount is huge if one person books all the devices. We just sailed on Navigator I got the 4th device for $5 per day.
  11. Not sure specifically to this ship, but we have seen sofa beds that don't fold out and sleep just one person and sofa beds that do fold out and sleep two. I have seen a cabin that sleeps four with one on the sofa and the other on a drop down pullman bunk.
  12. Thanks, I avoid draft on deck as it gets hot to quick. I have found the pool deck bars to be pretty consistent with what they have in bottles and cans. Can you believe I had to tell the bartender how to make a Black & Tan in the pub on Navigator OTS in July? Two bartenders in a pub and neither one had heard of a B&T.
  13. We sail on Wonder next month and I'm wondering if the pool bars serve beer in cans or bottles? I know they will put the beer in plastic cups, but I have a really nice stainless steel insulated beer bottle holder that I have used in the past while on deck. It will hold most beer bottles glass or aluminum. I just saw a video where they were serving Red Stripe in a can, which is fine as the normal bottle won't fit in my holder anyway. In July on Navigator they were serving Bud in the aluminum bottles, which do fit, except I forgot to take my holder.
  14. Now if you have a lot of people in your party and others need WiFi it gets cheaper the more devices you purchase for. We just sailed with our two granddaughters and I bought the four device plan on my account and the 4th device was only $5 a day.
  15. Good question, I would guess you will need to claim it after the end of the tour and take it into the airport. Let us know how it works.
  16. How soon after sail away can we order room service? We are in an OS on Wonder OTS can I get the concierge to order it for us? If it was just us I would go to SL, but we have adult son and grandson in a non-suite. Wanted to do sail away in our cabin.
  17. I went to my reservation, booked what I wanted, then upon check out it asks if you want to link and make a reservation for another party. You must have their RSVP number to do it. After you do it once it shows up when you do other reservations for other stuff. No need to call a TA.
  18. Correct answer is, "it depends." It depends on the bartender and if you have a relationship. A few times I forgot DW's card and still got adult beverages or even two at a time. This was after day 2-3 at the same bar. No matter what they tell you, the bartender can override the computer.
  19. Shore excursions have been getting posted all across the board. Keep looking they will show up. However, for PC I know there's an issue with the contract tour company that did the KSC tour. We had it booked and then they notified us the "escorted" part had been canceled and now it's a self guided tour. We kept it as it's transport to MCO to fly home on a late flight, but they didn't even lower the price.
  20. One person one device at a time, but you can share between people. Both can't be on at the same time. You can switch between devices. I switch between my Iphone, Ipad, and eBook. If DW wants to use it I just get kicked off.
  21. That was our experience on the Navigator OTS in July. I had the package and DW didn't. The only reason I know is the bartender was kind enough to put her double Patron on my tab and my beer I paid for on her tab. The double Patron would have been $18, I'm not sure he charged me the overage.
  22. The standard items are always available if it shows up as "Classic" on the menu. Don't worry about ordering something from the MDR they are use to it.
  23. you pay for it then it will follow you I would take the receipt just in case.
