  2. If you book directly via Princess, you have to make sure you have selected to receive the information. Princess.com ==> sign in ==> "My Account" ==> "Profile Information" ==> Scroll down to "Receive Offers and News". Mine appears as below:

  5. From the Uber website for LAX:

How to get a ride from LAX

Get on a shuttle and head to LAX-it

Take an LAX-it shuttle on the arrivals (lower) level curbside. They are expected to come every 5 minutes, and travel time to LAX-it is typically 15 minutes or less. You can also walk from Terminals 1, 2, 7, and 8.

    Once in LAX-it

    Find your Uber pickup point:

    • UberX: either curbs 2, 3 or 4
    • Comfort, UberXL, Select and POOL: back portion of curb 2

Note: Uber Black and Uber Black SUV will continue to pick up at the terminal on the outer island curb.

    How pickups work for riders

UberX pickups between 8am and midnight will use the new PIN system:

    1. Request an UberX trip to receive a 6-digit personal identification number (PIN).
    2. Once in LAX-it, walk to the UberX PIN pickup zone on either curbs 2, 3 or 4, and join the line.
    3. Share your unique PIN with the first available driver.
    4. Verify vehicle and driver details before you get into the vehicle.

Pickups for other ways to ride with Uber, or for UberX from midnight to 8am, may be requested normally.

    Curbside pickups

If you prefer a more convenient curbside pickup, simply request an Uber Black or Uber Black SUV trip. Then head to your selected pickup point on the outer island curb on the downstairs arrivals level for your pickup.

  6. Below are a few examples of cancellation policies. If you book a non-refundable deposit, don't expect to get it back regardless of when you cancel.

    For Princess:

Since a cancellation likely means a diminished opportunity to sell space on other cruises/cruisetours, the cancellation fees in the schedules below apply regardless of whether Your space is resold. You hereby agree that losses sustained by us in the event of Your cancellation would be very difficult or impossible to quantify, and that the fees set forth in our cancellation policy represent a fair and reasonable assessment as liquidated damages. The amount of cancellation fee varies based on length of sailing for cruise/cruisetour and timing of cancellation for cruise/cruisetour and Cruise Plus package, as illustrated in the schedules below.

    Sailings 5 days or less
Days prior to Cruise or Land Package Departure Item(s) Assessed Cancellation Fee

    For Royal Caribbean:

Cancellation of Cruise or CruiseTour. Cruises that are cancelled prior to the sail date, and CruiseTours that are cancelled prior to the first day of the CruiseTour, may be subject to a cancellation charge. 7. HEY @Belle Thank you for starting the weeks post and welcome back 🙂. I am up 4.2 😞 Below are my net calories (calories eaten/consumed - calories burned at the gym). I am perplexed as each day l am well under 2k and I worked out hard the 7th, 8th and 10th. This may be TMI but if my Birth Control allowed for a "week" tomorrow would be Day 1. I can only think it's possibly hormonal. I bought calipers and did a three site (suprailiac, tricep, thigh) reading on Sunday. For may age I am on the line of ideal/normal. I'd like to be solidly in the ideal.

    12/5 608

    12/6 1388

    12/7 635

    12/8 1329

    12/9 1449

    12/10 1464

    12/11 1612

Starting tomorrow (Friday the 13th - YIKES) I am doing a very restrictive "RESTART". I will be eating the exact same controlled meal 5-6 times per day. First meal around 11am and then every two hours thereafter. This will last through Sunday the 15th.

  8.  " 54 minutes ago, @bretts173said:

OK I'll bite.  Name a couple such.  I've done over 50 cruise excursions and never come close to one such"

    _________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Zip lines, those self piloted motor boat tours, jet skis, ropes courses....they all have risk. Then there are less adventurous such as, van tours (car accident) or hiking (falling down) nothing is without risk. An earthquake could happen as I sit at my desk. Probability is very small. As I said earlier, each INDIVIDUAL must weigh risk v. reward.

People have been trying to predict mother nature forever. She keeps us on our toes and when it comes to "acts of nature" there are no guarantees. It's "the experts" best educated guesses.

  9. Hey y'all sorry I've been MIA. I'm down a smidge (.4). I've been super busy since Thanksgiving. My nephew's Birthday was the third, I've had two get togethers and the rest of the month looks worse. I also overdid my workout on Tuesday and my back is very sore. 10 minutes - 15 jerks (65lbs) followed by power step ups 15 each leg. I got through 2 full rounds +7 jerks.

2 rounds of 15 hurdle jumps, 10 air squats and 10 kettlebell swings.

    Burned 528 calories

    Saturday

    2 Rounds:
    24 Deadlifts
    24 Box Jumps
    24 Dumbbell Push Press
