Yes BUT in my experience the actual wait staff never seems to know that I've checked that box

That's how I did it last month. The only change was I had to lose $20 before I'd get the free $10 worth of play. And the machine kept recoding wins. Transferred over $300, had $298 at the end. Never got the $10 but never really lost IMHO
If you are trying to use the coupon in the Princess book, you only need to ‘play’ $20, whether you win or lose is not the point of qualifying for the coupon.
Sometimes the cashier will not even check if you have gambled at least $20, but you are mistaken believing you need to lose $20 before you can get the $10 free play coupon added .
Well then I was right & they were wrong as I played quite a bit but was never down by $20.

@djtx2 inform your waiter on the 1st night that you have a food allergy. They will notified their Head Waiter who will bring the following day's menues and take your order to get the correct food.
BTW I also ask to be assigned to that waiter (I'm already assigned to that Head Waiter) so I don't have to explain again. I am not restricted to the MDR but the buffet remains problematic

As a new perk, maybe Elite Plus can get their laundry back within 48 hours.
I get mine back in an hour. Set to wash, back to room for coffee, 30 minutes later put in dryer, 35 minutes later it's done. In cold water. On their tokens.

On our last cruise, I had $400 in non-refundable OBC remaining towards the end of the cruise. On the last sea day I went to the casino, loaded $400 on one of the slot machines, and played a few times. I lost about $10, cashed out, and walked out with $390 in cash. I can only assume that you did not do it this way.

Yes, currently on the Crown. In a suite and only option for second setup was red or white. Took the white, sorry l don't remember what it was but I didn't care for it. I took the wine because we had enough water and we really don't drink much soda.
If it was the Chardonnay, I poured it out. Fortunately 1 bottle lasts me a week, can often board with 2 bottles when there's 2 embarkation points (next one Sydney & Brisbane). So maybe buying a glass.

No @wallyj. I seriously thought it would be added as OBC with a limit up to $29. Hope 8m wrong ... 4 months to go until I'm on the cruise I booked in 2019 and has been delayed by Princess until April 2024

With so many bookings already Carnival Corp has zero incentive to offer either sales or Princess Bonus Gift cards.

As posted right above you, the cost has gone from $39 with gratuity to $46. The 18% is on top of the $39 charge.
Oops 😳
-
Can someone who has eaten there since the change verify what the charge is? Is it a 1% or 18% increase?

@Iamcruzin You never did have to carry cash because the SD cover charge included a 17% service charge. You were tipping twice.
So it's going from 17% to 18%? All this is over 1%?

Recently off the Enchanted Princess & was told I couldn't trade for Rose only white or red wine. Anyone else run into this?

Oh, OK. Thanks. Now I don't feel as bad. I was going through my old patters from last year looking for the Muppets & couldn't find the show. I though I had overlooked it.
We'll be searching for it next week on the Enchanted especially since we've see all the productions shows so many times we're looking for something new.
These were the production shows on Enchanted Princess Transatlantic Cruiser 11/23/23-12/8/23

I used National Express Coach but then I only have 1 suitcase (23.5" with wheels)
-
Has anyone used www.gwr.com to get to & from Bath from Southampton? According to the website it's just £32.50
(Also sorry I'm adding onto another's thread)
-
National Express bus direct from Terminal 2/3 also makes a stop at T5. Depending on which hotel you choose & amt of luggage, either walk (Moxy w/ carryon only) or uber. Uber was £5.68 from Moxy to port. That'll be a repeat for me Fall 2024 as well
-
Uber was £5.68 last September so why not just make it easy and do that?

@MissP22 no. Actually the Patter was woefully incomplete as some thing were on the app / screens near elevators but not in the Patter. 1st time I experienced that
FWIW I showed up 20 minutes early for Silliness but on time for the other shows. Of course for the Theater I was willing to have an aisle seat on Deck 6 so maybe that's why I could be late (try left entry and walk around 1st row .... right entry is very popular 🙃)

I liked it. Light hearted fun. No one left including those who were left standing and, in fact, it was the only production show that was repeated as not everyone could get in

On the Sky 3 weeks ago there was *something* I just caught in passing on either an announcement or maybe one of the hallway displays about "something involving Jim Henson....". I have to assume that it was this "show" you're speaking about.
As in with puppets?
Yes, skits with Jim Henson's muppets and production members dancing

Are you kidding? You will be jumped on from all the people who say they smuggle their booze on board , won’t pay grats and don’t care about WiFi
As I've stated SO MANY TIMES, I don't care about wifi and last 2 times I traded the minibar for wine I still didn't drink it all! My blood sugar is much better without the mocktails so I do whats healthiest for me -- regular water
As to fitness 'classes,' the piazza has zumba and other exercises all morning long. No sign up needed. I still don't do that .... just run up to Lido Deck (16) then back to my Emerald Deck (8) & I'm good!! Twice if necessary to work off the previous day's overeating (totally possible). Not at the same time, I'm not that fit
So what would I get out of Plus / Premier? Gratuities at 60 instead of 16 .... or a different cruise line

New Princess App available

I've not read all 407 posts but my issues are:
1. Harder to view ship as now its not just swipe to move to another floor
2. Omitted Deck 5 MDR which is problematic for me as that's where I'm normally reassigned by HW
3. I will never use shoreside transactions as I resoundingly support small businesses. One of which told me in Ketchikan that he was assessed a whooping 17% fee every time that function was used.
I registered my cc for onboard transactions and that's as far as I went. Still green.
