  1. I poked around and found answers for other ships but not the Sky (unless I just overlooked it. )
  2. It seems to be getting very difficult to make reservations for the entire cruise with a group larger than 2 people. We almost always travel with another family couple and for whatever reason the making of the dining reservations always seems to fall to me. (I don't really mind.) I never try to make a "cruise-length" dining plan. It takes a few minutes extra to go one night at a time but we generally like to bounce around between all the MDRs. You can't do that if you try to book the "dining plan" method.
  3. We were on this same itinerary in February...and I just recently tossed the Patters! Sorry! Were you looking for something in particular? Perhaps I can help in that manner.
  4. Also what type of device, browser etc.
  5. Perhaps we can help better if you were to post the error message.
  6. Most of the smaller "regional" jets do not have the seat back screens. You'll mainly see them on longer haul flights.
  7. Very easy! When you fire up the second device the system senses that your one device allocation is in use and asks if you wish to disconnect it in order to connect the current device.
  8. They do not take turnaround time for decoration removal. It is done by staff during down times while cruising.
  9. Decorations usually stay up through New Years but they disappear very quickly afterwards. Can't speak to the Rose Parade...but very typically they will show special football games on MUTS screen.
  10. The one time we had a GTY cabin I think it was 2 or 3 days before actual sailing before we knew. It turns out they gave us one of the accessible cabins. I can certainly understand why they might hold that cabin class to the last minute before assigning it.
  11. Yes...this is something new that Princess is trying on an experimental basis. I personally can't imagine them keeping this up given all of the emphasis on cost-cutting. (Just my opinion!)
  12. Just be aware that there is a difference between "a show" and "a production show". A "show" can be a guitar player, comedian, singer, magician...you name it.
  13. 10/16/23: Princess Announces Partnership with World Famous Butcher Given the title, I thought this was some kind of advertising gimmick where they were going to slash prices... Oh, wait...they *did* do that! Hmmmm....
  14. Welcome to Cruise Critic! As @Snaxmuppet and @Essiesmom stated above, your cabin will be assigned (probably) several days before sailing. The time you arrive at the terminal has no bearing on *that* part of your cruise. One thing that arriving early *does* do for you is give you a chance to have lunch in the Main Dining Room, starting your cruise off "in style". (We have NEVER gotten to the terminal early enough to do lunch in the MDR!)
  15. Dan Austin by any chance? We've crossed paths with him twice now...he's really good but I don't think they have him on tap for the theater, just the various bars & such. (Great to hear from you...)
  16. @fsufancc... you REALLY owe @Steelers36 a beer for stepping through and answering all of your questions! He did a great job! I don't think there's anything to add!
  17. Every ship has a "European" style 220 volt socket behind the bed (at least every ship that I've been on - 7 or 8 now). It's standard design. It's not a socket that is intended for use by passengers...the bedside lamps are plugged in there. If you use an adapter you can plug in the existing lamp as well as your CPAP. I do it every cruise. Staff will not "promote" the fact that it is there. We were just on the Discovery last year and I was able to do this with no problem.
  18. @trbarton has pretty well covered the questions that *can* be answered...
  19. Sounds like you meant to post on your roll call... ??
