  1. Correct...many people have voiced their opinion on that change!
  2. Nah...all these "new" Princess staff people came from Carnival...
  3. And I'd bet that if you went back and got a different person you would have a different answer.
  4. Your experience was truly unusual and not the norm for most cruises.
  5. I truly believe that a connection made back to a specific poster would be very unlikely. But...that's just an opinion.
  6. Error 403 is a "logic" problem with the web page, most likely an error in connecting to the database to look up your card balance. Just more poor programming and lack of testing of code on the part of Princess! They will likely get it resolved soon... maybe!
  7. Sorry...can't resist! When I see a headline such as: Vegan Menus For Plant-Based Cruisers This is what comes to mind:
  8. Most likely to some unsuspecting newbie cruiser... "Hey, it's very close to the buffet!"
  9. Hopefully you will not have any issues...but I cannot give any first-hand experience.
  10. We have yet to sail on the Enchanted...looking forward to the opportunity, though!
  11. You might have better luck if you post on that cruise's roll call. That would be a more "targeted" message.
  12. For Alaska sailings, balconies are the most popular bookings. As @EDDY0827 says above, TAs can hold blocks of rooms because it's a fairly safe bet that they will be able to sell them. Also, *every* cabin is NOT available to be "seen" via the website. Princess will hold back some cabins so that they can be available for upgrade bidding. In that manner, they will make more money on top of an existing booking for an inside or lower category booking. I'd jump on whatever your TA offers if you really want to sail that date/itinerary. Balconies go fast!
  13. And...just be aware that if you do cancel your current booking, you *might* lose any perks that were available with that one. There is NO guarantee that existing perks travel to the next booking.
  14. Let's just say that I am "change resistant" just for the sake of change. I will continue to use my email method until they actually refuse to accept it via that method. For all I know that will be next week...
  15. To each his own. We simply prefer to have the water *already* in our cabin waiting on us instead of having to order "as we go".
  16. They know that it takes place. As long as *you* (the person wanting to cash out) do not publicize it and keep it rather small scale you shouldn't have any trouble.
  17. Good for you! I believe that you will be much more satisfied.
  18. Where do you see anything about supplying credentials to your stock account? Nobody has said *anything* about that! Nobody in their right mind would do this!
  19. @grak Transfer it to your casino account...play a few slots and then cash out at the casino cage.
  20. @Luv2CtheMouse9 we always book Plus and lately we've been trying Premier...but we also pre-order the water package. It's really convenient to have 12 bottles of water just waiting for you in your cabin when you arrive. It's the best $7.08 bargain to be had on board! Just remember to pop several into the fridge right away so they can be cooling.
  21. That's what my DW has me do...make a bank run for a load of ones. But...it never seems to last beyond the cruise (or so she says!)
  22. WhatsApp requires a connection to its communication service platform (via the internet). I strongly suspect that crew members get free internet on board, and WhatsApp is the most robust communication app available for *all* phones.
  23. Here's more: https://faq.whatsapp.com/816493839644612#:~:text=Make sure you have a,Fi connection with internet access.&text=Make sure that the signal,is connected to the network.&text=Open a webpage in your device browser to see if it loads.
