I will go take a look, but i dont think i have ever seen an acronym for a specific cruise ship on the other boards. I know they abbreviate like CCL or RCL or HAL because those are obvious, but not sure why CB would mean Caribbean princess. What does the B stand for?

Okay thank you. There is an airline forum you can hardly even read with all the abbreviations they use. Do you know if there are other acronyms for say Royal Caribbean or Carnival ships?

What is CB?

We thought the same thing until we saw John Heald years ago. He was really funny. I still remember it to this day. That’s the only one though.

We thought their specialty dining was great. I forget the name of the restaurant, but it was French and very fancy. The food and service was outstanding

I think they sell them on board. You might pay more, but you don’t have to go running around tonite to get some.

Because once there is an outbreak, the same people doing the deep clean are themselves infected, thats why its usually more than one cruise in a row.

If only they knew to pour water down the floor drain to stop the smell like so many people on this forum believe.

What is a CB?

We enjoy the great duck hunt. We have found quite a few in the past few years and always hide them for someone else to find. I think the sea life, dolphins, sea lions etc would rather your hide ducks on a boat then be captive having to swim with humans in a small pool just for food. Have a nice day.

They better be careful, pretty soon they will be getting rid of all their passengers too. They seem to forget this is a vacation, not a necessity like a ferry or airline. If they have a problem with the plastic, then they should figure it out. Cruising is getting more and more of a disappointment, with nothing but excuses from most lines.

They could have at least given them some chairs or a bench or something. Typical, there is nobody on the balconies in the picture, but plenty of complaints coming from posters on cruise critics!

So what? People break the rules every day without even thinking about it. Just like speeding, and thats an actual law!

The Federal Trade Commission does have rules about false, misleading and deceptive advertising. In its guidelines against deceptive pricing, the commission tells retailers that a product can be advertised as being sold at a reduced price if the former price was “a bona fide price at which the article was offered to the public on a regular basis for a reasonably substantial period of time." Try getting someone to enforce it.

Non smoker here, and I get it. Some of my travel companions like to smoke but only on vacation and have mentioned the same thing.

Not if they dont see you they wont. You can vape in tons of places, nobody will be the wiser. If your really paranoid someone will see you, just slip into the nearest bathroom,. Besides, what are they going to say besides dont do that anymore, and you will be like okay, they dont enforce many of the rules anyway so what the hay.

I would rather them being uncomfortable waiting, rather than us being uncomfortable sitting 6 inches away from another table.

Only an idiot would put the tables that close together. There seemed to be a lot of free space but I think they wanted the tables so close so they can have less waiters. Why don’t they put the large tables closer together to make room? Too bad if they roll their eyes. We weren’t the only ones rejecting the ridiculous seating arrangents. its not only on ships, we refuse tables we dont like at land based restaurants as well. Why not? We are paying to eat there and want to eat comfortably, not next to the kitchen or toilet or tables with a bunch of kids.

Supposed to be the same around here, but someone would have to take them to task for the violations and the deck is stacked against the average citizen, so they get away with doing just about whatever they want.

Last cruise we refused any table for 2 that was too close to others. The person assigning the tables rolled her eyes and eventually sat us by ourselves on a 4 top. We had the same table for the rest of the cruise, They dont seem to like you saying you will just go to the buffet if you cannot get reasonable seating arrangements.

But the extra money goes to the crew who work so hard to make your vacation special…..lol

Take up vaping instead. You can covert vape just about anywhere. Just get a normal one like the Juul not one that makes a lot of steam and you are good to go!

Thats probably why they call it a daily service charge and not a daily gratuity charge. I think they can do whatever they want with the money that way, and if anyone still complains they are being deceived they can always claim you can remove it if you dont like it.

I understand private insurance is always better in case of supplier default, which is looking more and more likely. If you dont think that will happen, just check out the crystal board. Don’t be penny wise and dollar foolish….
