  1. Yes, they do have MDR breakfast each morning. They have Seaday Brunch with a more extensive menu on sea days. The Brunch has been cut back to a noon ending now.
  2. We missed Tracey Arm due to unsafe/excess ice; switched to Endicott Arm up to Dawes Glacier. Still was an awesome day, definitely a highlight of the cruise.
  3. They are inclusive, just like on Mardi Gras. Guests request a table onboard thru the Hub app, with YTD having first choice. Others can request a table later in the evening, I believe 8:00. Basically considered part of the YTD seating due to the number of guests compared to the capacity of available MDR seats.
  4. Sounds about right to me. Amazing how quickly they turnaround every week.
  5. I missed my chance to buy 100 shares when the stock fell to single digits after Covid-19 hit. Told myself I’d buy if it fell under $15 again. Finally bought at $7.56.
  6. B2B often get free presents! I was B2B on Valor this summer; got a fruit basket, champagne, and a group picture. Wife and son were in the group picture. I left the ship and went to re-supply. They gave me an In Transit pass to skip the check-in lines. Wish I’d have left earlier so I’d been back on the ship a little earlier. Not sure if I’d have gotten the transit pass before the meeting time?
  7. Didn’t they give away commemorative books for the Mardi Gras Inaugural cruise?
  8. I’m on Celebration 12/19 for an 8 day Christmas cruise; haven’t seen any Cabanas offered yet for non-Excel Suite guests.
  9. Thought I’d read they issue wristbands; problem would be if they were the type secured to stay on until cut off, not flexible/removable rubber bands. I hope to book a Cabana on Celebration for 12/19 Christmas cruise but, haven’t seen any offered yet. Discount would be nice but looks like they may sell out for Christmas? BTW: I want to move to Florida and work for your company. Hiring great workers?
  10. Come party with us in Miami, first drink is on me.
  11. I’d be willing to try the prime rib. Wonder how it usually rates?
  12. Some of the more detailed reviews mention the comedians onboard various ships, or if you can find a currrent copy of FunTimes. @Saint Greg is a wealth of info on comedians and movies onboard.
  13. When Robin Hood dons his pirate outfit to liberate the bacon from breakfast in the Family Harbor lounge and takin’ the bacon up to the huddled masses in the Lido buffet. Some people require daily bacon fix and Lido only offers alternate days.
  14. @tomcatguy74 I did a search and it said Port Canaveral offered great views. Traffic varies on day/time. Artemis launch was expecting 100,000 people; scrubbed/moved to middle of Labor Day weekend and they were expecting 200,000-400,000. Always hard to predict everything so dependent on weather window.
  15. @Thenagers Thank you for the heads up. I’ll have to start watching closer. I do log in to see if they offer any cabin upsells so, I’ll have to keep an eye out for a Cabana. I saw the cabanas were selling great for Grand Turk and Amber Cove. Guess everyone wants to splurge for Christmas. First I’ve seen on the price hike from $2000.
  16. I just looked through 5 pages of excursions listed for Celebration on 12/19 and do not see Loft 19 Cabanas listed. Since Excel suites have priority for booking cabanas, I don’t think they release them to other guests until 2-3 weeks of the cruise?
  17. I got a great casino rate for 8 day Celebration 12/19. Free cabin for 2 and cheap third guest fare. I plan to book a Cabana, if available, the sale price will just be icing on the cake. I didn’t think they were offering any sales until the last minute?
  18. Seems they have been able to sell out recently by offering sale prices. Guests on the fence over the $2000 rate jump for $1500-$1750.
  19. They no longer require the Customs Declaration form. You walk right past Customs using the facial recognition of you have a passport; those using birth certificates still have to wait in line. Buying 3 cartons is definitely no problem; even when they had the declaration form, they’d wave you right past because they don’t wanna do the paperwork for extra booze or cigarettes. Galveston requests voluntary compliance with payment on booze for state tax. Most probably walk on past because they don’t stop and search people.
  20. The RU1 and RU2 codes were widespread after the restart. I wouldn’t expect to see such a wide offering again.
  21. Versailles is open until midnight, 1:00am on weekends, if you like Cuban food.
  22. You can take 2 bottles per adult for the B2B. They can potentially hold one until the second leg but, they didn’t on ours. I took some chocolate for gifts/tips and it was a big hit. I got wine, soda, and a bunch more chocolate; gave it out the second cruise to a very appreciative crew. This was in addition to the little extra cash for steward and waitstaff. Always have a great crew experience with Carnival.
  23. The new Excel class ships have a smaller Havana area with just a small pool, no hot tub. The Havana area is much better on the Vista class ships.
  24. The 18% gratuity is only based on the price of Cheers. I’d imagine the tip formula would be less based on the more drinks you partake. A dollar extra is good for me.
