  1. We will be celebrating our 46th wedding anniversary on the ship, so that has been working a long time now. 😊
  2. I've been finding lately that they don't even get as far as leave a message if I do not answer calls from numbers I do not recognize.
  3. I apologize for the reference to asking Mr. Del Rio; I had just made a comment in the ask Frank Del Rio thread and thought you were quoting that post. MY BAD! That does not change the fact that it was done not for safety, but for customer satisfaction. You conveniently leave out the crew training part of the muster drill and how that would affect safety in a real emergency situation.
  4. Your post is not on topic for asking Mr. Del Rio, but I will correct it anyway. Carnival and Royal Caribbean have disregarded safety because they know in general passengers do not think of it and are not willing to pit up with a small amount of discomfort. I was asking why when NCL cared about safety and training did they cave in on this.
  5. For Mr. Del Rio, or whomever substitutes for him, why have you caved on the muster drill and gone to the new e-muster that has no proof of effectiveness?
  6. What will the e-muster do to correct this? Do you have any proof of its effectiveness? There is at least experience with the old style muster, for example the Start Princess fire.
  7. 🤣🤣🤣How did you know I was a Taurus. I think just a lucky guess .🤣🤣🤣
  8. I believe if you dispute the charge with your credit card company they will temporarily suspend the charge as they investigate. Make sure you have all the proof of what has happened including all attempts you made with Princess to get it resolved.
  9. I think the question that should really be asked is if the muster drill is not for safety training (both passengers and crew), why even bother having one required. Yes, I realize it is mandated, but why mandate something that no longer serves its function?
  10. I really do not like disco, but DW wants to see it, so I guess we will be going.
  11. Right, it would hurt to lost what you paid for a trip, but that is money you expected to have spent. Presumably it would not bankrupt you. OTOH, a huge medical bill plus medical transportation back to the USA could totally wipe you out.
  12. If you are so bullish on Carnival, why own only 100 shares?
  13. So now you do not care if they survive or go bankrupt? 🤣🤣🤣
  14. No one would dispute that, I was just saying not a total 100% loss.
  15. Still a loss if less than a year, a short term loss. It's still a write off.
  16. But you would then get a tax write off for your capital loss.
  17. How often is the $29 a bag offered? And what is the charge on the days it is not offered?
  18. Yes, it does sometimes work. We are booked on the cruise we have booked for this summer on the Prima when we saw an itinerary we both fell in love with. The funny thing is we got the ad in 2021 and I know I did not realize at first the ship was still being built and the proposed cruise was for 2023, not the next year 2022. I know I thought that would be perfect for our 45th anniversary, but instead we will celebrate our 46th anniversary on a sea day. Since we have been doing extra special celebrations for our anniversaries ending in 0 or 5, I'll just pretend it is the 45th. 😉 (On our 45th anniversary, we actually attended a Willie Nelson, ZZ Top, Luke Bryan concert.)
  19. I guess if you do not know you will never know as you insiders will never reveal the information. 😒
  20. Morse code? The Da Vinci code? The Genetic code? Code blue? Some of us are not insiders like you insider information.
  21. As a vegetarian, the "bacon crisis" does not bother me in the least.
  22. Locusts and other plagues??? This sounds like a crisis of Biblical proportions.
  23. If I hover over a name I see how many posts and how many badges. For instance I have no badges. What are they, and how does one get them?
