Yes, it is great but just an FYI, you cannot have more of a spending bonus than days sailed on that cruise.
You also receive double sailing days points if you sail in a Vista, Signature, Neptune or Pinnacle suite in addition to the spending bonus.
We had an issue with a bagpiper on our Mediterranean cruise. Every single sail away we were "treated" to their playing. It really marred what otherwise would have been wonderful moments on our balcony.
But there are many other drinks available at BBK than what's on that menu. From what I remember, those were just specialty drinks for that lounge. All of the regular drinks are also available, many under $11.
The only reasons I could come up with are inventory control or proof if someone disputes going over their daily limit. Only in the latter instance would a signature be of any benefit.
And it allows the passenger to tip more than 18% that's been paid with the HIA package.
I think you need to take a break from your obsession with HAL. You are now agreeing with something that was never written, stretching to make a very convoluted point. It's become tiresome.
No, it's not free on Explora, it is included. It is paid for by the higher fares. HAL and other lines make it available in other ways which are also paid for. The difference is that those who don't use it don't pay for it on HAL and other lines. Choice is a good thing!
Did the room service club sandwich always come with Swiss cheese? I thought it was a kind of processed American cheese. Swiss would be a big improvement from what I remember!
I know they do in Signature Suites. In a regular veranda you can tell your steward that you're chilly at night and they will bring you an extra blanket.😉
In general, I spend way more time on my balcony in colder weather than when it's hot. Snuggling up with my blanket watching the waves is so much more enjoyable to me than broiling in the heat.
When you call in to accept the offer they will let you know how much it would be to upgrade to a different category. And yes you can buy CO and pick your specific cabin at that point.
If you just accept the basic offer you cannot pick your cabin.
If you have Anytime Dining you can eat at any time that the MDR is open. Reservations may be available for MDR for specific times if you don't already have fixed time dining but are never required. Just show up. Some nights there may be a wait.
I agree. Just reading the boards here, anyone can see how much of a priority people place on internet access onboard. I'm not surprised cruise lines want to make as much as they can by offering higher priced packages.
I think there is a lot of value in being able to enjoy two different areas before and after a cruise, especially if this is a once in a life time experience.
