  1. ok, my last time there was over 18 months ago, I don't recall if I even paid close attention to those signs or if I just let the driver get me there. Plus, I was on the Joy, which would have gotten terminal B if there were multiple ships in port (leaving the 'auxiliary' terminal for a smaller ship. I'll be sailing from there again 2 months from tomorrow...
  2. Would the digital portion of those not show the ship names?
  3. With a band, maybe. With a comedian, who hasn't changed his act - not so much.
  4. Or just look at marinetraffic.com and see what ship is at what berth. I'm fairly certain there are signs also...
  5. Those entertainers are changed out often, the ones there this week may not be there when you sail. When I was on the Escape in March two of the four Howl at the Moon performers were there for only a couple weeks. Yes, some have a "residency" type of contract where they're on for several months. Then you have the situation I had with one of the comedians in March, he was on my cruise on another ship the previous year.
  6. While it's not optimal for large numbers of passengers to see the show, I quite enjoyed the intimacy of the venue on the Escape and the performer interaction with the audience. The experience is not going to be the same in the theater.
  7. Because the contract may be based on performance in the Syd Normans venue.
  8. I mean - why bother doing 2 minutes of research of the materials the cruise line makes available when you can ask someone and get your answer 15 minutes later? So much easier, isn't it? 🤣
  9. It seems like nobody ever notices them...
  10. and NCL just opened balcony and ocean view solo categories across the fleet...
  11. https://www.ncl.com/about/terms-and-conditions/promotions Solo traveling guests will receive 50% off Norwegian Cruise Line's promotional airfare pricing each way.
  12. This may depend on the ship. I don't recall that being the location for them, but you can also use the touch-screen kiosks in the stair lobbies to reserve your tender tickets. When they are available seems to vary. In 2019 I was able to sign up for tender tickets on embarkation day, but the tender port was not until the second to last day of the 7-day cruise. In other cases, you can't sign up until 2-3 days prior. You don't need a tender ticket to get on the tender. If you want to be sure of a time to get on a tender you do. I was getting off a tender at GSC (private island) around 12:30, without a ticket and the tender boat was quite empty.
  13. This is precisely what I was referring to, and I believe someone else also brought this up...
  14. Only once connected to the ship's WiFi will that work. SOME have had success connecting from the terminal but it depends on the port..
  15. Right? It's almost like NCL WANTS people to know the information that is often asked about!!
  16. A post in another thread indicated that the Prima has it now...
  17. That's the difference. Sign up for NCL's Premium internet plan and you'll get VPN access on NCL as well. It's listed right on the description...
  18. By 11:30 or 12 I was able to get right on a tender without a ticket when I was on the Escape in March.
  19. Possibly. Reservations have been open to book since Sept. 10 (for non-Haven and non-status passengers reservations open at 120 days pre-cruise), only a portion of reservations are made available pre-cruise. You'll need to find the reservations table as soon as you board, try to board as early as possible, and see about getting the reservations you want.
  20. Can of worms... opened. It depends on the person you get, some allow one app, one soup or salad, one main and one dessert. Some say it's one app, soup or salad. Look in 4 previous threads discussing the topic, see 4 different answers...
  21. Siglo is good, and I look forward to seeing them on the Bliss in January. That was good. So was the Journey cover band (DSB Band) that I saw on that ship.
  22. Someone sitting next to me proclaimed it the best entertainment he's seen at sea. It really was a fantastic show!!
  23. Vibe Beach Club, it's mentioned several times in the thread...
