  1. For a new NCL customer it's 120 days unless they're in a suite.
  2. Usually sometime after 1 PM. My suggestion is to only carry on what you can comfortably carry for a couple hours. You can, but those times are not strictly enforced. Not that I've seen. Did you get the Free At Sea promo? If you haven't booked your dining yet you're probably going to have to have someone make a bee-line to the reservation desk for specialty dining as soon as you get on board. The reservations available online are usually only about 30% of the total available, with the rest opening up on embarkation day.
  3. So much THIS. I used the NCL promotional airfare once, and knew what I was possibly going to get as a result of having done research or read the boards. At the time it was 'free or reduced' not BOGO. I got almost exactly the flights I expected to get and other than an unsuccessful attempt to get on an earlier flight home (attempting on the day of the flight) instead of having to take the red-eye I had zero issues. I even did a one day deviation to arrive the day before embarkation. All 3 of my NCL cruises have been excellent. I sail again in 10 days, I'm curious how the recent changes will impact my experience.
  4. Do you also want them to send someone to travel with you and carry your bags? I'm sorry that NCL doesn't have the exact same offering another cruise line does...
  5. The customer asked for the different flight AFTER they saw what NCL booked for them, after the window where changes to the BOGO promotion are allowed (deviations can be requested until the 75 day pre-cruise deadline). Those policies apply to the equivalent of NCL's "Premium Air" where NCL just acts as a TA for booking the flights you request. Actually - the OP didn't specify if the flights they booked through NCL were this program or the BOGO flight deal. However, this page for that service with NCL https://www.ncl.com/freestyle-cruise/premium-air has this statement - Norwegian Cruise Line will not responsible for any expenses or other consequences resulting from inclement weather, strikes, changes/delays in the ship's schedule or routing made by a passenger, travel agent or airline.
  6. Gosh I hope not, with 4 decks of cabins between you and the theater! A deck 9, as the OP was asking about, might hear a bit more noise...
  7. Look at post 8, there's a promo for 3 EXTRA points per night (totaling 4 per night). Logic would then say that LATDBLX is two additional, for a total of 3 per night.
  8. The phone or chat rep can say one thing, the true policy is in the fine print of the promotion. See this thread..
  9. Sorry, if you're flying that distance it's not enough to leave home the night before, you should be arriving in the port city at least the day before in order to ensure you can make it. NCL sold you what you asked for, and the BOGO deal DOES allow for deviations (your flight was not a deviation, those are to ARRIVE the day before) of up to two days but you need to ask for it. A knowledgable TA helping you book the cruise would have advised you of this. I wouldn't even fly across the US without arriving the day before the cruise. The only issue here is as I commented above - NCL booked what the customer asked for, the agent did not offer a deviation to arrive a day or two before the cruise. Booking with that buffer would have been the only solution, if the passenger had booked the same flights on their own they would have had the same result.
  10. The Breakaway and Breakaway+ class ships have a smoking area on the starboard side of Spice. Well, except Encore since there's no Spice on that ship...
  11. I guess they either were looking at double-occupancy cabins or never looked at the Studio cabins in NCL's fleet. Those cabins are 100 sq. feet. I think Royal's on the Quantum class are of similar size (inside or balcony).
  12. For the future - airports have minimum connection times that airlines need to comply with. The flights could not be booked if they did not meet the MCT for the airport. The MCT should be based on the average person walking a typical pace. Here's info on the MCT from the IATA, an entity that governs such things. Minimum Connecting Time User Guide - IATA International Air Transport Association https://www.iata.org › contentassets › minimum... I actually had a flight re-booked mid-cruise one time as maintenance on an airport's shuttle system was going to be down for maintenance and it caused the MCT to inflate beyond what my layover was booked for. Turns out my flight got in early and I made my original flight home.
  13. The answer I recall from previous threads is that a call or online chat is needed. You can't modify it yourself.
  14. This happened for me as well. When I booked originally I simply had the Latitude code but when I got the confirmation after re-pricing at final payment I then got the LATDBLX. 3 points per night in a Studio? Yes please! I didn't even know the promo was happening, I only discovered it when someone posted about it and I went back to check my new confirmation document!
  15. @eileeshb the way @BirdTravels explained how to use them it seems that's still possible. I have also been a grateful recipient of a Platinum voucher guest dinner from a fellow solo traveler and if I make Platinum at some point (another cruise with triple points as I'm getting in 2 weeks and I think I'm there!) I plan to "pay it forward"...
  16. Are both adults not Platinum? If so - wouldn't both cabins get the Platinum vouchers? I'm just assuming the adults got their status as a couple, forgive me if I assumed incorrectly...
  17. I don't have a military discount, I did get the coupons.
  18. I used to be like that. I'm now 5'11" and 300 lbs., I know where it went...
  19. There's another thread where this was mentioned. It's a generic date for the cruise, when it opens for everyone. Check 5 days before that and you should be able to book. Ocean Blue should be covered, except for upcharge prices for the items that have one...
  20. I assume this one, like the others, will be transported to the other shipyard as the basis to build the rest of the ship. This one DOES seem a little more 'complete' than the first two, maybe due to backups at the Fincantieri yard where 'final assembly' is being done?
  21. You don't say what ship you're on. I sailed the Bliss in 2019 with a tender port at Cabo San Lucas. As soon as I boarded I used one of the touchscreens in the stair lobbies to order my tender tickets. I was given a list of options for times. Not all ships have those, you would use the TV in your cabin or maybe there's a table set up on embarkation day as there is for dining. Some sailings won't let you book the tender tickets until a couple days before the port stop.
  22. On my 3 NCL cruises so far I have never had to wait more than about 10 minutes for a table at one of the MDR's. However I DO like to eat early, 5:30 is perfectly fine with me, so that may also factor in.
  23. No, balcony and below are 120 days. Suites, status and Haven can book at 125 or 130 days, depending on which you are.
  24. It's listed as a specialty dining venue, the SDP should be valid there.
  25. I've sailed the Bliss twice and Joy once, both were smooth rides! I'd say equal to Royal's Anthem on the NY-Bahamas cruise. It must just have been the weather on your cruise.
