I have used Luggage Forward and Luggage Free many times and will continue to use them. My only criticism is the fact that lotions, creams , aerosol cans etc. can not be packed. (Also apple tags and electrical items are prohibited.) The convenience and reliability has made traveling a lot easier.

I've cruised around Cape Horn three times--and much to our surprise the waters were calm each time. The roughest waters we have encountered in our years of cruising has been the China Sea-- but it never stopped us from from cruising in that part of the world. Enjoy your cruise!

I was on the Spain intensive November 2021 on the Quest. We didn't have a shuttle (due to Covid) in Valencia, The walk from the port to the city center was beautiful==although it might be a challenge to some. Hopefully, there will be a shuttle. I look forward to visiting the ports again on the September 17 (Pursuit) cruise.

THANK YOU KirkNC I am thinking of switching to T Mobil-- but am hesitant after reading your post. I am booked on 2 cruises within the next 8 months totaling 170 nights. I will check with T Mobil about usage before I switch.

Thank you for responding so fast On my first Azamara cruise there was a short line-- and check in went very fast. The second time was last October in Italy and due to COVID testing it was a very long wait-- . My question was really out of curiosity--- because once aboard it didn't matter.

Pack what you know you will be comfortable in. I learned a long time ago no one cares what I am wearing--but me.

I completely agree with you- The largest ship I have ever sailed on had a capacity of 980 passengers. I was reading through the loyalty benefits and came across the term "priority boarding"- and was curious what how Azamara handled that

Is Azamara currently offering priority.boarding to certain level loyalty members and to passengers booked in suite accommodations?

8065 and 8069 both have tub/shower comb.. 8068-70 is a large shower I was in 8065 last fall and did not have a problem. Everyone tolerates noise differently.

How does Spectrum compare to T-Mobile and Verizon for cruising? Spectrum does not have a special plan for foreign travel. (only Canada and Mexico)

On request Luggage Free will send you a list of prohibited items for packing-- Air Tags are NOT on the prohibited list. Due to the many items prohibited such as liquids I am forced to check my carryon bag and take a small tote on the plane that attaches to my carry on.

I have used Luggage Forward in the past because it was associated with the cruise line I was sailing on- and it has always been great. I'm using Luggage Free this time because they are associated with Azamara. They see similar (except Luggage Free is less expensive) and the reviews are also similar.

This past winter my 79 night cruise on the Ovation was wonderful. I enjoyed it so much that I signed up for the 140 night 2023 world cruise. I don't care how my luggage tags are printed --I only care that my luggage makes it to the ship. Everything seems to fall into place on the ship-- I love the positive energy on the ship of both crew and passengers, but there is always someone who sees the glass half empty.

I agree with you-- the connection concerned me. I am using Luggage Free to ship my luggage-- and will use a carry on for my stay in Bordeaux. Hopefully my luggage and I will both make it to the ship.

Have the hair dryers recently been replaced on the Pursuit?

Prices have definitely increased. I am booked through Choice Air on Delta Air. NY to Bordeaux (change planes in Paris) and return Venice to NY (nonstop) for approx. half of what they quoted you. In addition Choice Air includes transfer from ship to Venice airport.. Have a wonderful cruise and enjoy your lovely accommodations .

I haven't called the air lines recently, but I will-- Choice Air roundtrip air fare was considerably lower for the same flights on the Air France and Delta Airline's website.. Are you flying home from Venice?

Choice Air has always booked business class for me== and booked the seat (when available) that I requested. This time I will be flying to Bordeaux and returning from Venice. I have been pleased with Choice Air and can't understand the difficulty you are having, Perhaps you should give them one more try.

In the past when I charged anything to my credit card pre cruise (such as spa purchases) the amount was refunded to my credit card when I got on board and my OBC was applied.

Choice Air gave me a choice of flights. They booked me and reserved my seat before final payment. I found that although I use a travel agent it is easier for me to make my own air reservations which were applied to my Azamara reservation.

Was your 360 bid pp, or total for two? Thank you for your spread sheet. I have never bid and found this really interesting.

It is possible they have replaced the old hairdryers- but if they haven't bring your own hairdryer. The last time I sailed on Azamara was seven months ago. I will definitely bring my hairdryer when I cruise again in September.

I've used Luggage Forward-- and always satisfied . I am trying Luggage Free this time because it is the shipping company associated with Azamara. Both companies have very good reviews.

Current prices are approximate (I called local taxi service I use) The prices I was given depends on the time of day- Newark $69.00 JFK $71 LGA $59.00 PLUS tolls and tip. I also use UBER-- the price is more variable , There is a flat rate on NYC taxis from Manhattan to JFK-- not sure about other airports. The renovations at LGA have greatly improved the airport. Newark is always a mess- but I have been lucky there-- JFK has forced me to use Luggage Forward because there has been a lack of sky caps and curbside check in.
