Yeah, the 'shaving off time' at the beginning and end of a port day is...just strange.
I suppose they could have handed her a life jacket and she could of taken a running jump off and back on the ship (the return jump would have to be magnificent!!) 🤣
I did this last month on the Equinox. I know very little about wine in general. I found the workshop to be fun and informative. I would recommend it...even for the more experienced folks...
They set you up with 5 wines and various items to sample with the wines...
Some time ago I bought a set of bright highway orange colored luggage. Easy to spot anywhere.
However, I've started to notice more brightly colored luggage of late...so I did indeed add a luggage strap that was just a horrible mismatch with orange...a shade of chartreuse...lol...can't miss it...
I had a similar occurrence on the EQ on Jan. 14th...I had rented a cabana and asked when the server would bring my included liter of grey goose. Sha also said she would ask her supervisor. It was delivered about 15 minutes later. (I was staying in a Sky suite...)
Well, I certainly didn't expect it to look like Campbells...lol...
As discussed before, they really should come up with a different name...
How about Swine A'La Legume? 🤔
How would the passenger feel about not being about to get food or drink for example...lol.
Read your passenger contract carefully...you may find yourself put off at the next port...
Very enjoyable webinar...certainly worth watching!
One thing I noted...Lisa said "We're the culinary brand"...😁
ETA: Oh, and...Beach, Red, Cheese, Greek Isles...
It is appropriate to tip whomever you want and any amount you want. It's up to you.
ETA: It is also appropriate if you don't wish to tip anyone.
Full disclosure: I always add tips to those who make my cruise more enjoyable.
This might just be one of the best threads I've come across on CC!
Thanks to everyone for all the great info.
Yep, I've been missing out on just a few things...lol...
Yep, that's the way it is...they charge a singles supplement. I'm a solo cruiser sometimes...
Some ships have solo cabins...but there are very few of them...
Sometimes there is a sale (rare) where they don't charge the singles supplement...
Or not...lol...
I daresay that's an overgeneralization...for example, it might be nice to have a few benjamins for a poker game that doesn't come out of your paycheck...things like that...
