  1. Sad to hear that The Wake is still having issues. Our experience on Resilient was pretty amazing, much more in line with a top end steakhouse.
  2. This list matched what we saw on RL back in July. Search for On The Rocks menu, that bar has an excellent selection. My favorite bar on the ship. https://profcruise.com/virgin-bar-menus-2023/#on
  3. Yeah, there is usually an ok deal when the first announce the itineraries. If you look at the winter 2025 you can can get a decent deal. I’ll always try a minimum bid on an upgrade, but no way I’d pay that. Rockstar is nice but I wouldn’t over pay for it. We had a blast in an XL with $1200 of on board credit.
  4. I wouldn’t say a topper was necessary, it might make it a bit more comfortable for a 7 day cruise. It was better than the bed on Navigator of the Seas, the first night in that bed was rough. My back is pretty messed up from past injuries, so I super picky. As Walter said, the beds in the rockstar suite are perfect.
  5. Just got our confirmation at the 7 day mark. We’re all set for March 22, 2025 in a cheeky corner. Long wait to cruise but the only itinerary that we could leverage an extra day and had the same cabin class.
  6. Last November it was day 4. They schedule SN the night before a sea day, it’s a long night for cast and crew.
  7. Just a heads up on rebooking. It seems VV opened up booking on a chartered cruise for a short time on Monday. March 16-23 BL now VL out of San Juan. Someone on our cancelled BL Facebook group was able to rebook on it and I’m seeing more folks on the main groups that have booked. I’m sure anyone that didn’t book through the charter is going to have to rebook.
  8. Disappointed with the short Caribbean itineraries as well. Hopefully they can get BL launched for 2025 and we get some more itineraries for the Caribbean.
  9. They start adding event info in the app when dining reservations open up. It helps give you an idea on when to schedule diner and plan out your ship time. Just be aware that they do change that schedule. I’m not seeing anything different from my previous sailings. I’m at 21 days.
  10. The service at The Wake on Resilient was completely different than our experience on Valiant. They were awesome on Resilient, everyone went way beyond to make the night great. I still love Pink Agave, I just wish the dinner lasted longer, might linger at the bar before next time. I’ve worn shorts and a t-shirt to Extra Virgin. Was running late and didn’t have time to change. No issues and I didn’t feel uncomfortable. The flexibility is nice.
  11. My TA is working on it. Decided to push the rebooking to 2025 in hopes we can rebook with a cheeky corner suite. We’ll make a decision on doing a shorter curse in March 2024. I wanted to maximize the rebooking perks with a longer cruise in the same cabin class.
  12. That’s odd, I was looking at this PDF and it’s showing 8. Waiting on my TA to see. https://www.virginvoyages.com/dam/jcr:756316c3-1507-4c8f-940c-52533ace7f6e/Sailor-Itinerary-Options-Updated.pdf
  13. Is that a 14 day? I was looking at that but the PDF I’m seeing says 8. I can’t swing a 14 day.
  14. Someone on our March sailing just posted this. Buy your TAs a drink today. https://vvinsider.com/virgin-voyages-delays-launch-of-fourth-cruise-ship-brilliant-lady/?fbclid=IwAR3CIQKN9HiL7JkwlG9UxB8BnaCT50UGrSZbVZpZc9kfuS37THpB9RL2vAM&mibextid=Zxz2cZ
  15. Yep, when I click view cabins the page errors out. Tried two of the itineraries in March. I’m really bummed.
  16. A cancellation of Brilliant would knock us out of rebooking until next fall. Our option would be to just do a land vacation in PR or move the flight credits to our Japan trip. Wish we had more time to travel but that’s life until we retire.
  17. It shows the same place. Sometimes it will just show VIP, can’t remember if if did so before I chose the time slot. I’ve had this booked on Valiant since July 2022. The Rockstar time slots don’t really matter, they all have a 1:30 arrival time.
  18. Rockstar still can contact red glove service, the app will load that same email address as mega. Now what they can do for you might certainly vary. It might be worth a try, but a TA or calling would work as well.
  19. That’s good, in cheeky corner on deck 8 for December then 9 in March. I always sleep with earplugs when not at home. Really looking to being closer to decks 7 and 6. Also looking forward to the terrace and hearing music from the Dock.
  20. I hope they don’t cancel VL sailings this close to December and January. Our Dec 2nd is looking close to full, but I’m not sure how the other weeks look.
  21. I agree that we’ll see Virgin make some stops in the pacific. They have the perfect ship for the Mexican Riviera. With an overnight or late departure in Puerto Vallarta, it would be really appealing. I really wish we had better options.
  22. Fantastic news! I heard they were limiting showing up before your set arrival time in Barcelona due to the terminals limitations. Hopefully they can continue to manage the lines.
  23. I have a feeling I’m going to regret not picking up more MNVV. While I would have loved for Virgin to visit the US west coast, but the UK is much easier to fly to than Athens. Barcelona is not too bad.
  24. RR has two small hot tubs and you still pay for drinks. They do have a free champagne hour though, 5:30-7? Not sure that would solve the drink package issue. We recently sailed with $1,500 in loot and bar tab. The only reason I bothered to check the tab was to make sure there were no mistakes on the bill. No difference in the time we sailed as mega. I will probably never purchase a drink package again.
  25. I’m a Sea Rover and the Sea Blazer shows like your screenshot. It also showed that way before I earned the Sea Rover status. I think VV is going to leave that badge to taunt those of us that didn’t sail in 2021. The badge system was to be part of the new sailings club, so they might have a working version when that’s rolled out.
