    Head scratching I agree. Next time go to Modern. Either the bomb or my go to, all muzz, half pepperoni and half sausage (sometimes get onion in place of pepperoni).

    Pauls father Bart was President at Yale for years before becoming MLB commissioner. In New Haven they call it apizza pronounced ah beetz. Mozzarella is called mutz and pizza is is thin crust some would aay burned but it is charred. Peppe's white clam (not my fav) has been listed as best pizza 18 out of the last 20 years. Check out the documentary I loated above

    Nah, The holy trio. Pepe’s, Sally (400 yards apart) and Modern Apizza (our fav), all downtown New Haven. Worth the drive, do it. In the summer, I can escort you 😉
