We had Mr Radu on our journey cruise in 2019, I attended both sessions, they were excellent.

I have heard horror stories on the time it takes for all clients and crew to clear customs. Will be interested to hear how it goes.

Not to stir up a hornet’s nest, but I have been corrected from people on Royal pagrs…it is not a charge for food, it is a seating charge (you cannot get the food without paying so……).

They have done the same with us the last 5 cruises, never before…at least that I can remember. I have been approached by Maitre’d’s though

Lawyers work for.....lawyers. This comes from someone who has a daughter who is one. The POINT is they are in it for one thing and one thing only $$$. What is it you think they are going to accomplish? If the Op wants real results, they should be all over Miami HQ, call Christine's office directly, not posting pics on a social media site. At the very least (without knowing any facts, there is always another side to every story) the accused and their families should be banned by Carnival and this shared with the other major players in the market.

That def sounds like something a liberal college professor would say. Society wants to follow rules, basing the making of them on what the rule breakers do or not do is perhaps the weakest argument against them. The hospitality industry has to walk the tightrope, it is a balancing act, your view, my view their view, are from a certain perspective. To say because you or I disagree with our interpretation of what we perceive they are doing (without knowing the facts) is simple untenable. If every cruise line strictly enforced every single RULE, nobody would cruise.

Nothing to be sorry about. At the end of the day, the final arbiter on your vacations is you. If you feel Carnival has lost their way , then it sounds like looking elsewhere might be the right decision for you. Happy cruising.

Since we are in a “regular” balcony room….no. We are using them on our Greenland Legend cruise in September.

Well, that is a view…. Won’t get into a debate, but, rules are put in place because……the VAST majority of cruisers follow them. There you go. I see them doing it ALL the time, every day, on every cruise. Possibly your view is ……slightly different then their view? Or are you RIGHT?
