  1. I reprice our booked cruises almost daily. We had one that dropped in price last Saturday by $174. I rechecked the following day and the price went right back up to what it was on Friday. Don't know why it went down so much for one day but glad that I checked. We booked a cruise on November 19th when they released the Caribbean cruises for 2027 and just checked it today. It has gone up almost $500 ! I am going to continue to monitor that cruise and others as the prices have gone so high I may not get a chance to reprice for awhile. I think the bookings are up and Celebrity will continue to raise prices until the bookings slow down.
  2. We just started getting Blue Chip offers this year but it was only a free cruise for myself. Today their "Early Access Black Friday" is the first offer that I received for an Inside Room for two. They offered some nice longer cruise so we booked one for next year.
  3. Here's where Beyond will be and a link to all of the ships https://www.thecelebritycommitment.com/destinations/ select "2026/2027" and then scroll down to find the Beyond listing In case the link gets deleted email is "the celebrity commitment and add .com
  4. Oops, I was up too early today booking this, we booked on Ascent not Eclipse. My reading comprehensive that early is way off 😄
  5. That is exactly what we booked this morning. I had marked down we were going to do the same sailing in February 2027 but it was too pricey for us at over $200 per person/day. We book the Oceanview room and after Black Friday discounts etc we are cruising at $186 per person/day for the April 19, 2027 sailing. I did compare it to the April 2026 sailing and the price is lower so I reprice as it drops.
  6. Thank you for the information on "placeholder". We moved from RC to Celebrity last year and have never heard anything about Placeholder. I think this sounds more interesting than FCV. Do you have trouble when you book and have to educate the sales reps on the phone ? If Placeholder is less hassle then I am very interested over Future Cruise Voucher.
  7. I would contact Celebrity directly to have them add it. They are having all kinds of IT problems. Yesterday I tried to book an excursion and I could select my name but not my husband's. Called Celebrity and she told me they have 2 different systems for booking the cruise and another for booking excursions. My husbands name is listed in the booking but in the system for the excursions it shows myself and a totally different name instead of my husbands. They said it will take up to 3 days to fix and for me to try again then to book.
  8. We have always used the Future Cruise Vouchers within 6 months of purchase so I have no idea if the OBC would drop off because of using it after 6 months. I had it happen with two cruises and it took time on the phone, plus explaining the program to one customer service rep, but it's worth it to me for the OBC. We book directly with Celebrity and still have problems using them to book cruises which I thought would stop once we moved from booking with the big box store. One customer service rep argued with me that it didn't say what I thought it did for the OBC amount. So glad that I had all the flyers from the cruise ship which listed the full details.
  9. I agree that everyone needs to check their booked cruises and if their onboard credit is correct. We had purchased a total of (6) of the Future Cruise Vouchers and for each of the 6 cruises that we booked we have had onboard credit lower or drop off when we reprice. Luckily I have all the paperwork as I have had to argue with some Celebrity sales reps and they tried to explain it as when the price lowers so can the onboard credit. We buy the vouchers because the onboard credit is set regardless if we move the reservation to a new booking or we repriced the cruise. For one cruise when the shareholder credit was added the onboard credit from the Future Cruise Voucher disappeared. It was $175 so I made sure that it was added back on. So many IT problems that Celebrity should see there is a major problem.
  10. It's funny because after the call 2 days ago, when I was finally able to book the Premium Access, Celebrity sent me an email wanting a review of the phone call. I commented that they are losing lots of revenue by not making IT a priority. They put so much effort into making their website as flashy as a early MTV video without making the product the focus.
  11. $15.99 was a great price, so glad that you booked it and didn't wait. I do hope that they continue to limit how many they sell because if everyone can have Premium Access then no one really has it. The theater will have yelling matches if people can't get an assigned seat and it's still 30 minute until the show starts.
  12. Update to trouble booking Premium Access: I was told that IT should correct the problem and to check back in 10 days. Well I couldn't wait so I checked two days ago and it was listed again so I TRIED to pay for it online. I was able to select it but it wouldn't allow me to add it to the cart. I called in and customer service was able to process the payment with no problem. I received a confirmation email so we are all set. I did check our upcoming cruises and the Premier Access is listed for all of our cruises under "Exclusive Experiences". The price range is really varied and it doesn't really seem to matter the age of the ship or cost of the cruise. Here are the prices available for our bookings. Some we have booked the Premium Access while others just the Premium Wi-fi. January 2025, Constellation, 10 night, $24.99 per day/person April 2025, Eclipse, 12 night, $24.99 per day/person November 2025,Xcel, 7 night, $25.99 per day/person December 2025,Silhouette, 6 night, $17.99 per day/person April 2026, Eclipse, 14 night, $17.99 per day/person (this cruise was our problem cruise to book) October 2026, Silhouette, 11 night, $17.99 per day/person
  13. Have a dedicated adults only pool area with NO "family hours". We cruised on Summit earlier this year and during "family time" they had to close the pool in the Solarium to clean due to poop floating in the pool.
  14. UPDATE: I called Celebrity and I was told that Premium Access is still available. He told me...wait for it...IT problems ! He started an IT ticket for me and told me to call back in about 10 days while IT works on it. I can't imagine all the money that they lose by people not being able to book this and other amenities.
  15. I thought the complaints about Beyond had a mold smell ? The complaint about Ascent was creaking sounds but we went ahead and booked an Oceanview. Ascent looks like a great ship so I hope they work out the problems.
  16. I found this online but it is undated. I did find it mentioned on the Celebrity Cruises website under FAQ's "while on board" but it only states the ages on the flyer I found. I added this in case the link to the flyer gets deleted since your question was about ages of those in room. Q: Is everyone in my stateroom required to purchase Premium Access? A: All guests ages six and older in the same stateroom are required to purchase Premium Access. CEL_Premium_Access pass (1).pdf
  17. What makes me kick myself is that for the first cruise where the Premium Access was added and hasn't been deleted yet I went ahead and cancelled the 1 device wifi at $17.99 a day. Now the same package is $23.99 a day. I was thinking at the time maybe I shouldn't cancel yet since the cruise isn't until April 2025. For the second cruise where it was purchased and refunded at least I hadn't purchased a wifi plan so I'm not out yet unless they also cancel the first booking.
  18. I ended up calling Celebrity to reprice a cruise and asked if I could add the Premium Access. I couldn't see it on my computer but she was able to see it on her end and booked it for me. I called back later and had it added to another cruise but never received the confirmation email. Just checked online and it has been deleted from my bookings. I have received the refund for the Premium Access that was cancelled but I never received an email or call from Celebrity with an explanation. Are they phasing this out or another computer glitch ?
  19. I repriced a Oct 11, 2026 cruise out of Boston on Silhouette and it decreased $174. The other cruises that we have booked didn't change but I am very happy with such a large price drop.
  20. We have used Go Port and it's great. It's a flat price and it's a comfy bus for the trip. Their website makes it easy to book and would recommend.
  21. Sorry, I would talk you into taking both and doing a back-to-back. But if you made me pick I would take the Southern Caribbean and we did the Panama Canal this year and I would love to even do just the section because I also get to go to Curacao and Grand Cayman.
  22. I start planning for our upcoming booked cruises. Excursions, air flights and sometimes just making mock bookings and playing "what if we go visit ..."
  23. We also were on the Panama Canal sailing and found everything to be great. We had no complaints and have no issue to recommend the Summit to anyone.
  24. We are waiting to book New England/Canada for Sept 2026 and Japan 12 nights in March 2027. Both cruises will be with Celebrity Cruises and can't wait as we are really looking forward to seeing Japan for the first time.
  25. We have purchased them once so far and the $100 deposit is applied to your booking. You don't have to pay any more money until the final payment date. I did use our 3 Cruise Later Certificates last year and we booked our cruises with a big box store for the extra perks. I had a very hard time with all 3 bookings as the big box store had no idea what the certificates were and how they should process the payment. We now only book directly with Celebrity so the 2 certificates that we just purchased should go smoothly, I hope.
