  1. My wife and I had MTD last week on the Allure. We had 6:30pm every night and the app said to get there 15 minutes early. We were usually seated by 6:30pm except for the lobster night but it might have been 6:40pm. Only used the dining room 3 nights though. The rest of the nights we just ate in the windjammer.
  2. ty for your input. We will see what happens when we pull the trigger and book. (fingers crossed)
  3. Was on this sailing as well. We ate in the windjammer on 5 nights out of the 8. I'm not picky at all and always found something to eat but my wife while not picky doesn't have a pallette like mine and on about 3 of those nights couldn't find much to her liking. They also took out 2 production shows since we were last on. Since you have to wait until you board to book shows I have a suggestion. If you want to see an adult comedy show in the comedy place book those first. I didn't and they were booked solid for the week very fast according to the app.
  4. gotcha I didn't know. So does that mean CCL has it in their shops? When I was on Horizon in April I didn't look.
  5. Bought insurance with only a trip interruption clause. I believe he said there was no cancellation available with the insurance he bought. OP hope your wife feels better soon and can rehab from her injuries
  6. Guess it depends on the ship or everything is still in flux. ours said that too but there were only 3 questions that I answered awhile back.
  7. Interesting and ty again. I have no idea about MSC or how they do things. We are probably booking the Merviglia. No idea if they use bracelets on that ship.
  8. I am on the Allure right now, getting off in a few hours and i can assure you there were no health screening questions either in the app or at the port.
  9. Tyvm. That was going to be my next question. Lol that causes a little problem. Lol thanks again for the replies
  10. How old do you have to be to book a cruise on MSC? If it’s the same as the other cruise lines is it possible to book my 20 year old grandson and his gf next door to my cabin, or would i need to book my grandson in my cabin and book a second cabin with my wife and grandsons girlfriend? TIA
  11. Thank you for explaining it. I apologize to the OP and everybody else for erroneous info.
  12. Think you just had a bad cabin steward or you were suffering from paranoia. why would you get bad service because you are not on the prepaid list? i’d bet that more people pay on the ship than prepay. How would the cabin steward know you weren’t going to pay on the ship account?
  13. The captain announced on our cruise that he couldn’t leave the dock until everybody had done their muster drill. Said he was waiting on 200+ pax. After the completed the muster he thanked them for their cooperation and we departed on time.
  14. Makes perfect sense to anybody thats been around for a long time. had post like this all the time back in the day
  15. I feel slighted that you didnt answer in the 3rd person.😛
  16. Totally agree about the shows. Yes they were good but as you said far from best at sea. Saw Mama Mia last night on Allure of the Seas. Beats anything Ive seen on Carnival.
  17. Ty. How do they get away with charginging $26.99 a day calling it surf and stream when you can barely surf.
  18. You wont be able to finish your muster check in until you get your card from your room at 1pm. You still have until sailaway to complete it though.
  19. We watched the video on the app and after we watched it, it said completed.
  20. We are on the Allure now and there were no final health questions. i even posted last week asking about them as Royal sent me an email fill them out and I couldn’t find them on the website.
  21. The Havana pool on the Celebration is more like a bird bath when compared with the Havana pools on Vista class ships. That being said we are booked in a Havana cabana next April on Celebration.
