  1. Sometimes the site / my browser can be slow. I've found that waiting for several seconds (more than 5 Mississippis) after the page appears generally allows enough time for the page to position properly. Interrupting that process usually results in having to manually scroll to the first unread post.
  2. Years ago I considered Buffalo. Sadly, while flight costs were lower than YYZ, total trip cost was not. Living in the eastern half of TO, 2 - 3 hr travel times struck me as no worse than YYZ wait times. Of course I grew up in airport waiting lounges, so I don't have the same aversion that many others have.
  3. Your laptop screen may not be logically wide enough. Is the browser window full screen? If not try that. This is what I see on my table in portrait mode This is what I see when I rotate the table to landscape
  4. Virgin should be embarrassed. 1. To have such a pedestrian presentation. 2. To call those discs hash browns.
  5. Only on a PC. Type what you are looking for in the search bubble and press enter or click on the magnifying glass. It is only possible to search This Topic on a PC. Handhelds do not have the feature. Although with some devices putting it in landscape will change the display to the desktop layout with a search bubble as opposed to just the magnifying glass.
  6. Have you established that the conviction is for behavior that would be deemed a felony under Canadian law?
  7. No, the cruise contract is quite clear that it is the responsibility of the passenger. Being allowed to board is no assurance that one may be allowed into a country. There is at least one thread on CC that discusses this. I recall a post from one that was a first person account of someone with a DUI. When the ship ported CBSA came aboard and had a chat with him.
  8. Have you seen https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/inadmissibility/overcome-criminal-convictions.html?
  9. And here I thought my neighbors were unique.
  10. See https://boards.cruisecritic.com/forum/2-ports-of-call/
  11. I do recall seeing something about tobacco. In order to bring something into the country it must be legal for the person to own the item.
  12. If you are on a mobile device, a notification count will appear in a green circle on the menu button (3 horizontal bars, top right). The button has to be tapped to bring up the bell which can be tapped to see a list of notifications.
  13. When I search for user ship reviews they are presented in latest to oldest sail date order. The month and year are noted at the bottom of each review.
  14. Did I misread the port schedule, http://wico-ltd.com/cruise-ship-dock/ship-schedule-port-availability?
  15. Wonder of the Seas docks at Havensight, currently.
  16. There are two cruise terminals in Charlotte Amalie, Crown Bay and Havensight (West Indian Company Dock). They are on opposite sides of the town.
  17. Looks like Chrome is fine for CC. The Samsung browser, (which I have never liked 😉), may need updating.
  18. You are using Chrome if the button you tap to run the browser looks like What model phone are you using?
  19. I'm posting this reply using a Samsung A52 5G and the latest version of the Chrome browser. Do you know the browser app you are using on your phone? Is it up-to-date?
  20. There are two sales taxes in BC. Federal GST is 5%. Provincial PST is generally 7% but alcohol is 10%.
