  1. The casino looks naff compared with the rest of it. I guess Cunard want the money from it but….
  2. There's the additional slim wardrobe next to the bed - or is that the one you are talking about? More wardrobes = less cabin space, so I guess it's a trade off
  3. I'd slightly miss my rainfall shower... but I guess they want to put a slight limit on water consumption if possible - and there may not be enough headroom anyway
  4. They don't. They'll be pretty much same size as BCs as it's just the cabin is deeper, but the same width and the bathroom is by the door The bathroom does seems a touch bigger without the sloped corner seen in the videos where the loo sits in the BCs. Assuming the plans from months ago are still accurate
  5. And Chris Frame...
  6. Folks you should take everything back - looks b***** fantastic! (Queens Room is probably the lowlight though!) I also take it back - this may well have been filmed by the guys commentating
  7. A 10 min review. Though looks like Cunard issue video with 3rd party commentary
  8. More will be from the roof dome - nice feature
  9. Very nice - almost tempted to bid on a P1>Q5/Q6 upgrade... £640pp min though.... yes a Q5. Corner ones are Q3
  10. Ok, some misunderstanding - yes it has glass walls but no direct windows to outside (as light through the restaurants). And quite narrow paths to the outside especially on QG side, but looks good. Do QV and QE have walls then (I only know the rather underwhelming QM2 Grills lounge)? I know as only a one time cruiser which table we will be given in PG in June - not one of the ones lining the windows unfortunately...
  11. The QG lounge is between PG and QG restaurants so it has no direct windows but has a domed roof window (which is on the centreline of the ship).
  12. Stops the hangers being stolen.
  13. As I’ve said Frank - what are they going to do if you do turn up to self disembark at 9? Whilst waiting we saw people do it around that time.
  14. I’ve booked the Hilton at the cricket ground - with a pitch facing balcony for a laugh (no match on…)
  15. Would think all Fincanteri build shops now have same width for all staterooms apart from QG or equivalent. I expect the camera makes it look narrower and the bathroom smaller. assume on longer cruises and especially world cruise clothes are laundered. Another review showed suitcases fit under the bed.
  16. They aren’t impressed with the Queens Room. Chairs look rather ordinary, tables very much so. The room is offset to one side of ship centreline with a walkway down one side if I remember the plans correctly.
  17. It’s their career. For some of them anyway. Pretty good job if you can get the following. The guy off TipsForTravellers and Emma Cruises are near permanently on cruises.
  18. can't see anything else on Youtube
  19. Here is a QA Balcony Cabin review...
  20. One of the best rates anywhere I think Such good drivers in the UK of course... Roads are actually very well designed here - even things like motorway slip roads which can be very badly designed in some countries (Italy for example).
  21. Not usually... and research says it's slightly the safer side (to do with dominant eye and dominant hand).
  22. Yes, but you are still driving on the wrong side there...which is easier for you.. I thought I'd miss a manual but the 8 speed auto on my Alfa Romeo is superb
  23. Liking this drone footage...
  24. Indeed, all cabins down the sides are the same depth (ok, ones in the hull may be marginally different from ones on the super structure). Shame Vistas and QA add on depth - in a QA PG in 53 days... (not counting)
  25. QM2 is quite easy to work out sizes as cabins (apart from the very top ones) are measured in whole or half width units. Britannia - 1 unit, PG - 1.5 units, QG5/6 - 2 units, QG4 - 3 units...
