  1. On our recent Regatta cruise the organizer contacted guest services and they had a section of Horizons reserved for our M&G.
  2. If you don't mind sitting on a bus, there is a shuttle from Vancouver (downtown or airport) to Seattle (cruise port or airport) that my dad recommended (i.e., I haven't used it but his friend has): https://quickcoach.com/cruise-shuttles/ I also noticed there are no CA coastals (spouse and I had an entertaining few minutes speculating as to why).
  3. But are the new cookies good enough to beat out my love for O's caneles (the little brown rum cakes)? Only experimenting will tell...
  4. As noted by another poster in an Allura topic, all ships' itineraries through December 2025 are viewable on the O website with the exception of Riviera that only goes to Septemeber 2025. I didn't get my promo email...need to check my settings! Edit: Oops...only Allura and Vista are through December 2025. The others are through either September, October, or November.
  5. A $3099 PH2 would be one of the 7-day Caribbean cruises (or similar LA RT or NYC RT) which are O's least expensive offerings. I'm guessing gift sets are limited to high-cost cruises if any. Listing it on the website is a bad move in any case.
  6. So far, everyone can board at 11 am or later (if the boarding time is available when checking in). What varies is when cabins are available and luggage is delivered (starting with top suites, PH, then regular cabins available...usually around 3 pm with luggage by 4 pm).
  7. Go to https://www.oceaniacruises.com/value Then scroll down and click on Beverage Packages.
  8. There are two reasons that occurred to me...a significant number of passengers will have specialty reservations on one of the nights, and if the special dinner is popular seating may be difficult to find (especially if sitting outside is unavailable/undesirable); it was a zoo during the Alaska-themed dinners in June.
  9. In the past year we've been in oceanview cabins on Regatta 3 times, embarking in LA, Seattle, and Vancouver with boarding times from 11 to noon. There was no or minimal (<5 minutes) wait at security and check-in. I'm sure it varies by port though.
  10. Our June itinerary said that we would travel inside going northward and outside going southward. We did the opposite (which was in Currents). Our September itinerary said that we would travel outside going northward and inside going southward. We did the opposite (and Currents said inside in both directions).
  11. So glad you posted this! A while ago (August?) someone asked about safe size; and another poster's answer was smaller than my laptop (which fit in our D-category's safe in June with room to spare) so I posted that I thought it was bigger. Low and behold, our C-1 category safe (on this trip) was tiny, not even close to fitting a laptop. So, there appear to be an older, tiny safe and a newer, bigger safe. No photo or measurement...sorry!
  12. To add to Jancruz' post, Accor ALL hotel memberships have discounts for Luggage Free and complimentary insurance (just noticed the other day when checking something else).
  13. I've never experienced this procedure in 2021-2023. Is this at the NY terminal only? In Miami. LA. and Seattle I've been able to check in near my time anywhere from 11-noon with little to no wait in LA and Seattle (we were still doing Covid-related-extras in Miami Dec 2021).
  14. @FetaCheese If I hand you a stone with cuneiform on it, will you post my thoughts too? JK...we're suffering along with a single laptop and logon, but I can probably wrest it out of the spouse's control long enough to chime in between Baristas visits (online gaming just doesn't have the same pull as it does on land). The promised rain has added a checked bag (really just an expanded carry-on) full of boots, coats, and swim suits 😄
  15. You can find the drinks that are included in the Prestige drink package in the following post: The Premium menu is only available by the glass (i.e., not part of any drink package).
  16. And that's what matters in the end!
  17. You can see the different brands in steamships website: https://www.cruisediary.de/vista-showkabinen/ In May, PH and below had Bulgari, but the higher suites had Acqua di Parma. May depend on stocks. Edit: I just noticed the Oceania suite has both A di P and Bulgari in one of the photos. Edit2: Boy, I'm unobservant...the PH suite also had both brands in May.
  18. Please ask another question. We do way better with a specific question (as long as it's not tipping, clothing, or cookies...then all bets are off).
  19. They switch over around 6 pm or so and have some evening coffee bevvies available. There are most definitely people sipping lattes up to closing which I believe is ~10 pm. Plus other bevvies:
  20. While I agree that O will eventually have an app, I have only cruised on O and I have no idea why I'd want one. This is not meant to be snarky...I really wonder how it would improve the experience. What have people on other lines found better with an app? I can barely be bothered to carry around my card, so I am certainly going to be a big whiner if I have to carry a phone (hey, now those little card substitutes I could go for more than an app).
  21. Apparently I follow LHT28 around...Terrace then Baristas then room (with a stop at the spa to grab the fitness class schedule...I promise I'll actually go to one on my next cruise!). Baristas has little brown cakes that I can never get the name quite right (not cannoli, not cannelini...canele'! yay google). We love our pets, but our choices for home decor are limited by their destructive nature (to be truthful, delicate objects are not safe around the spouse either), so we really appreciate the quality furnishings on O ships (and the cleanliness)...the lighting especially...I look at all the crystals and wonder how many of the staff spend their entire day cleaning lighting fixtures.
  22. No, sorry I wasn't clearer...sometimes the pdf or online TA website won't have PHs listed, but when the sale shows up on O's site there will be PH sales on a very few sailings (usually just the PH3 for the A1 price which can be very tempting even for the small-shower lovers like us).
  23. This has happened in the past where it appeared not to include PH but then it did...not an issue for me so I'll let someone else do the digging. (Spouse keeps trying to get me to try a capsule hotel but I have standards!)
  24. You just don't get it. My TA is very responsive and I get the same deals as you PLUS perks from my TA AND she'll bust her butt if I'm in trouble (yes, I have her cell number and the backup TA's number). I also booked the Extraordinary Sale weeks before you were aware of it (even though I posted about it when I saw it). Keep wasting money if you want but please stop misleading people.
