  1. The following topic has a schematic and link. They were not remodeled, just repurposed.
  2. I haven't thoroughly gone through every 2025 itinerary, but the Riviera sailings seem sparse in 2025. Is she due for a primping at the salon?
  3. The one on the website is wrong. See post #9 for the correct schematic.
  4. It's only available onboard from the ambassador. It makes it so much easier to see what is where and when!
  5. The solos on the R-ships used to be E category and are now S category. The price doesn't show online unless you do a dummy booking and change the number of passengers to 1. If you just want an estimate without the dummy booking, the price will often be halfway between the D and F category price.
  6. This is where one of those nifty "show all itineraries" charts that they have onboard with months in columns and the ships in rows. But here we go: Nautica in 2025 Jan 8 for 18 days is LA->Hawaii->Papeete (in transoceanic section p. 61). Then Nautica has four 10-day itineraries running around Tahiti (until Feb. 35th, JK, March 7) which gets you to the "Grand Voyage" itineraries.
  7. I just received the new brochure in the mail. Regatta will spend most of this time in Australia and New Zealand before swooping up through quite a few SE Asia ports on the way to Tokyo. If anyone has questions about a specific month/ship/etc., I am happy to look it up.
  8. Please let me amend my "comfortable for two people" comment...only if not tall...my 6'5" brother would probably hang over the edge even if he slept diagonally and alone.
  9. We were the last couple to (officially) occupy 6030 on Regatta and the beds are the same as before. I measured out of curiosity but can't find my notes (how useful...sarcasm font); I seem to remember the bed was shorter and slightly wider than standard full size...definitely bigger than a twin though...comfortable for two people as long as the pets aren't also traveling.
  10. Oceania does not refund port taxes/fees, just shorex booked through them.
  11. If you look at a full view photo of the R-ships (https://www.oceaniacruises.com/ships) you will see large round windows on decks 6, 7, and 8 (forward). On deck 4 you will see mostly square windows. On deck 3 you will see tiny round windows; these are the portholes in the D-category cabins. The C1 and C2 category cabins either have the square windows or the large round windows. I hope that helps. You can see the size of the large round window by viewing the vista-suite photos (https://www.oceaniacruises.com/ships/sirena/suites-and-staterooms)
  12. Bummer! Are there other itineraries (with availability) that would be an acceptable substitute? Your TA (or you) could contact O and suggest a similar deal (OBC and adjustment) on your preferred substitute. If they say no, then cancel (or try again). Good luck!
  13. They do an overnight so that people who have been on the ship and are continuing on the next segment have an opportunity to go to Machu Picchu (or other time-consuming shorex). You would normally check-in on the 19th. You will want to contact Oceania (which you're doing) if you want to check in on the 20th...not sure what they'll say since part of the check in process involves local port authorities (not O employees). We still had time restrictions when we went (more flexible now)...stayed in Aguas Calientes one night and wished for more. Actually we wished we had hiked the Inca Trail but there's always something fun and interesting that you "discover" once there, so no regrets! Enjoy what you have time fore...MP is worth the trip, even if just for one day. I need a vacation from vacationing after traveling for 3 weeks, so I don't see us ever doing the ATW or other lengthy vacays but who knows 😉
  14. If you enjoy DIY, I recommend staying in the town at the base of Machu Picchu (Aguas Calientes) for at least 2 nights (depends on how much exploring you want to do). That way you avoid the "day crowds" who fly up for the day from Lima. The mornings are very peaceful. You'll also want 1-3 days to acclimate to high altitude before doing anything too energetic; going to Cusco and surrounding areas first is good since you can take leisurely walks. Enjoy researching!
  15. Yes, for $25/day/person the last I checked.
  16. They had plastic tops on Regatta in September. They will also use your travel mug if you bring one.
  17. 24 oz. if filled to about 30-35 mm or 1.25" below the top (full but the stopper area is empty). Also, the glass bottle in the room is still water by default. You can ask for a bottle of sparkling water too. Still water is the hazy glass and sparkling is clear. The glass bottles should not leave the room, just the metal bottles.
  18. The actual layout shows when doing a dummy-booking. Since the beds are not standard sizes anyway, I think a custom width bed (bigger than twin) that would allow a comfortable chair with a pull out foot rest under the reading light by the window would be a great addition. That window in 6030 is a great viewing location when the crew has a safety drill!
  19. @Firstin87 You can see the complimentary laundry form and the regular laundry form at steamboats photo review in the photos of the penthouse suite. Marina is very similar to Riviera so you may find the entire review interesting. I have only used the self-serve laundry and hand washing in the bathroom since I am picky (nutty?) about how my laundry is done. There is a line in the bathroom to drip dry delicates, swimsuits, etc. into the tub/shower. https://www.cruisediary.de/marina-penthouse-suite-11077/
  20. There were empty veranda cabins for quarantine purposes on our recent Regatta cruise (not used as far as I could tell). I seem to remember that O will move an ill person to a veranda cabin if they are booked in a C-category of below, but i can't confirm.
  21. The T&Cs for O-Club benefits start with "All Oceania Club benefits listed are per stateroom, are based on double occupancy, can only be applied to one booking per voyage, have no cash value and are non-transferable." https://www.oceaniacruises.com/legal/promotion-terms/ So the OP's experience seems to agree with the T&Cs. Nice to know...I'd hate to leave the spouse behind if I earn a free cruise just because I took a few cruises with friends 😉
  22. I've been wanting to ask what may be the silliest question on this forum, and a little fun seems appropriate, so here goes: What is your favorite Bulgari toiletry scent/color? I have only tried the blue and the green, and I lean toward blue. This is shocking to me since I usually buy almost everything fragrance free from my local hippy-friendly store, although I sometimes buy things like dish soap or hand soap with essential oils. I got addicted to the blue lotion and (gasp!) took my partially used bottle home. I was so disappointed to find out that this is not a product that is carried typically in stores. So, every once in a while, I go into the guest bathroom, flip open the blue lotion cap, and pretend I am sailing on Oceania...aaaahhhhhh!!!!!! I look forward to someday trying white and the elusive red. Please tell me about your favorite.
