  1. Your flight is quite some way away, so they probably haven't finalised the times yet. It should be in the morning, but as Well boy 91 writes, it could be put back. If you're thinking about car parking and what times to book, you should arrive back in the early hours.
  2. You used to be able to do that on P&O, but they got wise to it. Oh, well!🙄
  3. What, Sinitta and Simon Cowbell?
  4. I think the search works on exact spellings, so you have to change words and remove or add apostrophes to find just what you're after.
  5. Yes, it was them that took us on our tour and did the airport transfer. She was talking about a public bus though. From the limited research I've done since, there doesn't appear to be a direct route from the port; it would have to be from the centre of Bridgetown.
  6. A 'friend' told you that, did they?🤭
  7. Sometimes, sometimes not. In my experience, an email usually arrives after an event has already started. Just keep checking. I don't think there is a set time that they are uploaded; some folk have found them to be on just after midnight on the day of publication, some have found them to be uploaded later in the day.
  8. Welcome to the boards.👋 The Chef's Table has been discussed many times in the last few months, so a quick search may bring back the answers you seek. In the search bar at the top right, just type in Chef's Table and choose to search in this forum. Here are examples of returned searches... https://boards.cruisecritic.co.uk/topic/2903046-the-chefs-table-is-it-worth-booking/#comment-64542038 https://boards.cruisecritic.co.uk/topic/2916552-live-report-iona-g305-canary-islands/page/2/#comment-64861773 https://boards.cruisecritic.co.uk/topic/2908083-food-and-dining-on-po-ships/page/18/#comment-64856210
  9. That's you told, isn't it! 🤭 If you could do that, everyone would be at it. At least you'll only have to part with £50 each for the deposit.
  10. Well, that was a schoolboy/girl error by them!🤭
  11. SNAP... and SNAP... Our tablecloth was a bit messier than yours after that lobster though. You are obviously more refined diners than we are!😉 We do like Epicurean.🙂
  12. It's down to personal choice. If you have lots of OBC you may wish to use that; if doing that, and your cruise is busy, I would recommend booking as soon as you load up My Holiday on your device. I prefer to book through the Cruise Planner before we board, so we benefit from a 20% discount plus any Peninsular discount. We can always find something to spend the OBC on.
  13. Thanks again for the information.👍 I'll certainly keep an eye on it. I know the TA you refer to, but we booked onboard in January. I wonder if VA would entertain the notion of upgrading with points; I have a few hundred thousand that haven't been touched since before the pandemic. They probably won't if it's a charter, but I'll still ask.
  14. All we know is that we were told when we booked on board that the flights from Manchester to Antigua should be with Virgin. It's over a year away, so that could change.
  15. Thanks for the information.👍 We have already paid the additional supplement for PE. How much extra did you pay for the upgrade to upper class? The cruise is for my wife's 60th, so I'm prepared to push the boat out.
  16. I agree with you; however, she doesn't specify whether it is her intention to pay for a cruise in full or just the deposit. She writes about paying for an upcoming cruise whilst on board; so, if it is just the deposit of £50pp, then that's not a lot in the great scheme of things. If though, it is her intention to pay for a cruise in full using cash, I would, as others have done, wonder why. Vamps, please clarify.🙂
  17. Well boy 91, do you recall which aircraft it was? Was it the one with more economy seats and less PE seats? Also, do you recall if they used the upper class seats? It would be a shame to let them go to waste!😉
  18. We are sailing on the Arvia repositioning cruise next March and have been told it is Virgin from Manchester to Antigua; looking forward to that.🙂
  19. On your Cruise Planner, yes; but only if they are available. Sindhu is one that is sometimes available to book, and it has been for me on both Arvia and Britannia. Beach House tends not to open for bookings until you are onboard. All will be revealed two weeks before.
  20. terrierjohn is with Sky; £2 per day, but not all countries. My sister and brother-in-law are with EE, and they did as you did; a better deal.
  21. I don't see why not; as has already been written, you just can't charge it to your cruise card. Are you planning on winning big on the slots, and using that when you cash out?😉
  22. Now, that's an idea!🤔 I'm reassured to now know that an admin charge won't be applied. Having recently booked a cruise on board with low deposit, and with included parking, I did wonder about admin charges from CPS if I cancelled the cruise should a better deal be available.
