  1. Siglo is fantastic. We have three more hours of them tonight in Cavern club.
  2. It was. The beef was forgettable. Unlike the fillet in Ocean Blue on Monday. That was delicious. I asked the server before ordering. Always a good plan with NCL steaks. bonus content: with the cancellation of Pricilla, Six is now the official @ChiefMateJRKworst NCL show. 😎
  3. My hearing is awful and so is the ship speaker system, so it’s just unnecessary noise to me. It’s playing in the buffet. I’ll head out to the bow for the big glacier soon.
  4. It’s sunny now in Glacier Bay. I’m sitting in front of buffet enjoying a spicey Bloody Mary. 😎
  5. Really? Aren’t we talking about stuff that kids can drink? 🤣
  6. It was long today. About 45 minutes at around 10:00 am. We didn’t reserve assigned slots yesterday. We could have.
  7. South railroad dock. They shuttle you past rock slide area. Long wait for shuttle.
  8. I’ve been making a meaningful dent in the Guinness and Bulleit stock, but will try to leave some for you. disclaimer: I might not try very hard. LOL. I also remember Homer’s words of wisdom. “Trying is the first step towards failure.”
  9. Thanks. In Skagway now. I’m told train trip is shortened due to snow higher up. Weather here is very nice.
  10. Thanks!! We will. I guarantee it. Ain’t nothin’ could spoil this salty dog’s fun.
  11. Just don’t drop the bottle. The humanities!!!
  12. I’m on board. Just zoom in max and look for the old guy with a Guinness in his hand. I don’t think we have Archie this week. Siglo is AAAA+. Stephen is good. More to come….
  13. It’s water and a trace amount of soap!!! Jeepers! I would love it if my neighbors blew some of those fun bubbles. My grandkids love them. Some folks really need to learn how to have fun. Especially on vacation!
  14. I’m on Bliss now. Boarding to empty ship was unbelievable. One hour from hotel Uber pickup to being on board at 10:00. First beer in hand at local about 10:15. Rooms were available and luggage there when we walked up after lunch. Very full ship but no issues. Steward is nice and reliable. Buffet is crowded, but once we find a table no problems. Plenty of bartenders and servers. Should be the same next week. I heard anywhere from 4300 to 4500 this week. More kids than usual, but it’s nice to see them have fun. ETA: muster was less than 60 seconds. Nice
  15. Thx. We’re on the Bliss now. No sign of Archie. Siglo is amazing. Stephen is good. Piano player is really good. I’ll watch her more tonight and remember her name. Something like Oana?
  16. I had the same problem in January. Had to ask a port cop where the Sun was docked. Uber guy had no idea and didn’t speak English. NCL needs to include the pier info in eDocs. We already know it is port of Miami.
  17. Great to hear! I'll be there VERY soon. 😎 Good music and song and bottomless Guinness! Life is GOOD.
  18. Yep. A rare venue where the kids and drinkers can all have a great time.
  19. I call that "cruisin' like a pro."😎 (you may wind up with two "buzzers" but it's all good 🤣)
  20. Perhaps the answer is right in front 🤣of us. Don't knock that balloon twisting until you've tried it. It's actually a fun way to spend 20 minutes while you're waiting for some other fun thing.
  21. Next time join the line with two drinks, one in each hand.😎
  22. Isn't it one bar per deck? Regardless, some of us would get a drink at a bar and then join the line. If the line moves fast, you already have your drink when you sit down (at which time you can order another and not worry about it taking a while). If the line moves slow? Just hold your place in line while a volunteer runs to gather refills.
  23. Yeah, it's so "painless" now that I honestly don't even remember it occurring on my last two cruises. I'll pay more attention on my upcoming cruises.
