  1. I think they will continue it. If I was "forced" to order four items, a lot would go to waste and then I would eat one more meal in a complimentary restaurant. By letting me spread it out, there is less waste and less demand on other restaurants. At the end of the day (cruise), less wasted food across the board means less NCL has to buy for cruises. I would call that a win-win.😎
  2. Thanks. It could have been a PITA, except I had already visited the bank ATM to load my wallet for an upcoming B2B. Other than cruising, I never use any cash, so it's all good. 😎
  3. We've shared four items among two or three adults on many occasions, and never been questioned. I've never read a report here on CC of somebody not being allowed to share four items at FR among as many people as they wanted to.
  4. When we boarded in Miami in January it was first Saphire and above. Then Platinum came next.
  5. Thanks!! You just put my mind at ease. This wasn't entirely hypothetical. My bank had sent me a replacement for my ATM/debit card and it was supposed to show up in my mail on Tuesday. It didn't, so I reported it to the bank (card not received). Of course, the first thing they do is deactivate all current cards on the account. 😡🤬
  6. Can a person get cash at the casino on an NCL ship by charging it (along with some percentage fee) to their room? Assume my debit card just got deactivated so I can't use the ATM.
  7. If NCL doesn't return to profitability, there will be no more passenger experiences.
  8. As long as we have an in-person muster, safety is of no further concern.
  9. My guess is that another NCL employee removed them because it seems risky for anybody to advertise their full name on the door of their cruise cabin.
  10. Isn't that included in "sleeping?"
  11. Truth be told, many on the ship only use their rooms for sleeping, showering and changing clothes. Who goes on vacation to stay in their room? That said, anybody who ever lived in a crappy college dorm room is likely to be delighted with any studio/inside cabin on a cruise ship. No room mate? My own bathroom? A steward comes by once a day to clean my room? SIGN ME UP! 😎
  12. It is highly likely that it is. Railroad rotary snowplows haven't changed much in 150 years and are still used by Class I RRs for the toughest snowfall areas.
  13. I'm guessing that it would have shown up at your door before too long. The stewards are trying to move luggage as quickly as possible so likely leave some stragglers sit temporarily while they move others.
  14. In my experience, they keep it to themselves. Just call the reservations folks and ask if they can see any FCC.
  15. So, you're basing your inputs on four-year-old information?
  16. Thanks. I don't keep the Escape on my plum radar because she lacks an observation lounge. I added her and am just not seeing anything "insane." Perhaps you could elaborate. I generally only look at steerage (inside and balcony), so might not be seeing what you are.
  17. Just piece all of those together and you'll likely get my point. That said, just tip what you want. I'll do the same. I don't tip them the astronomical amounts that some here (claim to) do. I also don't leave the cupboard bare. I really like these people and hope to brighten their day just a bit after I've had the time of my life (again).😎 ETA: I always book inside, so maybe I have a few more $$$ to share than some of the others on the ship.
  18. Same room. Extra sink in the bathroom (like two people could be in there at once) and, I think, a bigger shower. (disclaimer: I've never been in a club balcony suite)
  19. Five more votes for Glacier bay!! (disclaimer: I haven't been to either of the other two, but have them both scheduled😎)
  20. I believe that you received incorrect information from the AC. MANY of us have used two platinum free bags per cruise.
  21. Thanks friend. I'll will soon find out!😎
  22. Will you still pay the extra $$$ for a Haven next time?
  23. I think you're wrong. It would take a whole lot more than this to shift most of us from cruises to land.
