  1. Are all of those things really "exclusive" to the Club Balcony Suites? It seems that I've had access to all of those in the cheap cabins.
  2. There is no such thing as a "check-in time."
  3. Why do you think a person would be charged otherwise? When making online reservations, only the fixed price venues generate a charge. That's why somebody with the FAS meals needs to book those first.
  4. This doesn't sound correct. Did this actually happen to you?
  5. You are describing the 5% who seem like the majority because they just stick out so much. Haven't you learned to just ignore the idiots? They aren't going away anytime soon.
  6. I think it's all moot right now. Everybody here knows exactly how it works, but some just feel compelled to complain about something/everything. Regardless of how laws change, there will still be complaining.
  7. Yeah, I get that, if you enjoy that sort of thing. I really do like Choir of Man, but the "free beer" is just a fun gimmick. The post I was responding to suggested that a person should get there early to get free beer. For 98.3% of the adults sailing, the beer is already free everywhere on the ship. It was just a logic thing. 🤣
  8. I'll bet you a dollar. I just need to figure out how to give you my address to send it to.
  9. I've taken their beer, when they've come to where I'm sitting, but for anybody who has the drink package, it is a meaningless perk. Just grab two beers on the way to the theatre and you're good to go.
  10. This is simply not correct. What is the incremental cost to NCL for drinks six through twenty? 15 drinks x $1 per drink? Fifteen bucks is hardly "far more valuable."
  11. That's a key discriminator. Many here would agree that Glacier Bay is the highlight of AK cruising, and having it twice B2B is twice as good. Hubbard is great, if the ship can actually get to it without ice flow interfering. I haven't yet done the Tracy Arm visit.
  12. Why would a bartender even be involved? Their job is to swipe the card, enter two drinks (max) per swipe and prepare the drinks. What else would they be doing?
  13. Why would they ever "check" a card? Don't they just swipe them and let the computer tell them if they need to charge for the drink?
  14. Since NCL has decided that the environment can no longer allow us to see the NaPali coastline, we're looking at this: Nā Pali Catamaran Sunset Tour | Kauai Sea Tours I haven't been on it yet, so can't really recommend.
  15. DW stumbled across this myth the other day. I told her it was just urban legend and that CruisePlum's price tracking is exhibit A.
  16. How do you know that the person on the ship who is acting like a jerk has an online jerk persona as well? I have no idea which of my fellow passengers have an online presence. I'm guessing that the vast majority do not.
  17. My problem was keeping dem bones on the table. Sometimes best just to pass.🤣
  18. Suddenly, missing GSC doesn't sound like such a big deal.
