You have to ask for the real maple syrup and they will hopefully bring it in a square cup for you.
2 out of 3 times they brought me the correct syrup, the third time I had to describe in more detail what I wanted. “The little cup you fill up at the waffle station”.
We were on the right hand side. I don’t think it would have mattered if we were on the left. All the views are great and a short walk anywhere on the ship for a different view.
Being “younger” has nothing to do with it.
On the SS cruises we’ve been on, the “younger” people, including my wife and I have all happily dressed up for formal nights.
It was some of the “older” people who didn’t.
With the Galápagos cruises you don’t book in advance of boarding.
You’ll sign up in person each night after the nightly briefing for the next days excursions.
There was never any problem for us booking the excursions we wanted. There was plenty of room for everyone.
We plan to book La Terrazza for NYE. We board the Dawn on 12/27.
It was our favorite on the Muse. Can’t think of a better place on ship to celebrate the New Year.
