  1. Now that they are sailing at full capacity, they are cutting back on casino offers esp. PP.
  2. I emailed fbaron@princesscruises.com. This was the email address that I was instructed to use when I called the casino number on the offer. I received the email a week later. I would suggest calling asap. This is a cut and paste of the email: This is to confirm that I have received your email. We were able to forward your offer to our promo team. It should be loaded to your account within 1-2 weeks. By that time, we should be able to book your cruise with the offer. We appreciate your patience and understanding on this matter. Dealing with the casino call center in the Philippines is a very frustrating experience. They tend to make mistakes with bookings. It used to take hours on hold to get a rep but now that casino comped rooms can be booked on the website it's easier to get through to a rep. I sincerely doubt the sail expiration date is extended. They were referring to the booking expiration date as it will probably be expired by the time it's in the system. CBS offers must be booked within 45 days of issuance. I just hope that the cruises that I want are still available when this finally gets straightened out. NCL sounds like they have a wonderful system and it is the exact opposite of what you will experience with Princess.
  3. I'm still waiting for my CBS offer to show up in the system. Tried to book after the obligatory 10 day wait and was also told it was not in the system yet and could take another month. I just received an email that it will take another week or two. I disembarked on June 17th. This is happening with everyone. They are extending the deadline date of the offers. I have a Core email offer for up to 3 free rooms but it's not in the system yet, either. It's been 2 weeks. I was getting email and snail mail offers every other week and was able to book with no problem. I suspect it's a supply and demand issue. Now that they are filling up the ships with paying customers, they will delay booking the comped rooms.
  4. Thanks. I deleted the app and reloaded and it's working now.
  5. I have a cruise this Tuesday. I was in the green lane and now the medallion app shows this cruise as 56 days away. It will not load. Any suggestions?
  6. Same for me. All cruises 20 days and under showed a 0 rate. Now they are all discounted. I have 2 casino cruises booked that are still showing.
  7. Thank you. For future cruises will look into other insurance.
  8. Thanks. Will do. I was assuming the cruise insurance coverage was about the same.
  9. I got Covid on a Celebrity Cruise and was very sick. I had to get a hotel room for 5 days in Fort Lauderdale for 5 days. I have cruise insurance through the Celebrity site with Aon. I'm filing a claim now but do not see anywhere on the policy that they pay for hotel fees to quarantine and recover. Does anyone have experience with this? As far as Covid protocol, Celebrity is the same as Princess. Isolation in room and able to order off the MDR. I did go to medical the night before with a broken rib from a horseback riding excursion and had 102 degree temp. I tested negative but they had me come back the next morning and I tested positive. I was not offered FCC's.
  10. As I wrote, verbally asked for tips. 2 Mazatlan port drivers asked for tips. I have taken 8 Mexico cruises since November. 7 with Princess and one with Royal Carribean. Snorkeling excursions did ask for tips by passing a hat around and some held a hat when we exited. the boat. I remember a young honeymooning couple embarrassed because they were on a budget. I have had some really bad excursion guides that asked for tips. I did not tip in the Platinum/Elite lounge and ended up being ignored the 3rd day as did another that did not tip. We noticed that others around us were tipping. They seemed to get the service. I actually went to the bar to get a drink. That was my first experience of having that happen in that particular lounge. In addition ,when taking Cabo water taxis to Medina Beach, someone will be there to help you out of the boat and will ask for your bag to carry. They will always demand a tip and hold on to your bag until they get that tip.
  11. I agree. On my last Mexico cruise everyone had their hands out for tips. Even the Platinum/Elite lounge servers seemed to expect tipping. Add that to all the hawkers at the ports and it was indeed overwhelming. Every excursion guide asked for a tip. In Mazatlán, the drivers that took passengers out of the port asked for tips. Tipping is out of control.
  12. You can book the comped cabins on the website now. The only problem is that there is no place to put the offer codes.
  13. I just booked a VIP cruise and the casino called me back in 4 hours. It's not only correctly booked but paid for in full! The cruise is in April. I hope that they are getting better.
  14. I did just get through to a rep and she put me on hold for 15 minutes while she got permission from the casino that she could take the payment. Glad this is over. Hopefully no other surprises.
  15. My cruise is this Tuesday. I am now getting notices that my cruise will be cancelled if remaining 39.00 is not paid. Needless to say customer service is non existent. No phone calls back and on hold for hours before being disconnected. This 39.00 appears to be insurance. I did get a hold of a casino rep last week and asked for insurance add on. She said that she could not do that after final payment. Somehow, she added it and now I have no way to pay and the cruise is in 4 days. Any suggestions?
  16. Roxie, did you do this recently? Someone posted on the Princess forum that this email is no longer monitored. I'll give it a try. What can I lose. Thank you.
  17. Philippines. Some of the accents are so heavy, I can’t understand what they are saying.
  18. Thanks for the info. I won't waste my time trying to find it. Some posters on the FB casino group are saying that they complained on twitter and got replies from management.
  19. I cannot get through either. I posted on the Casino thread and it was suggested that I send an email and they will honor if past expiration date. I don't have their email.
  20. Do you have the email address? I don't see it on my offers.
  21. Thank you, I received the email and a snail mail with the same offer today. Only problem is that I cannot get through to the call center. Been trying all day.
  22. I just accidentally permanently deleted a VIP offer. There are 2 in my personalizer. I have a casino cruise this next week. Can the host help me get the offer back? I spent all week on 3 other casino cruises that the call center messed up. They don't seem to know what they are doing and it takes days to get in touch with them. I was constantly disconnected today. I have many empty promises on fixing their mistakes and everything is escalated but nothing gets done.
  23. I have not been able to log in for the past 2 days. I can't even access live chat to fix it.
  24. I was able to get a" Konami does Mexico" cruise through the My Konami game. Is anyone going on this cruise? I emailed my information to the Royal Carribean Casino Dept and am wondering how long it takes to get a response. I am leaving on the 29th for a cruise and this will be a day after my cruise ends so I hope to get it booked asap as I need to change my airfare.
  25. It really was not that bad. There were maybe 5 or 6 women and their crew. There were demands for cabin changes at the beginning of the cruise for some passengers that had adjacent decks and felt that they crew was too noisy. I saw them filming a few times but never saw them trying to directly interact or involve passengers. They were filming in the Piazza when I boarded, and I saw them filming at the Effy store and Champagne waterfall. One of the stars participated in a Princess Live production but I didn't see it. I think it was a magic show. They kept the filming tight in a small area and didn't really disturb the passengers. I kept seeing the actors around the ship, probably about 6 times in the elevator, a few times at the buffet and once at the adult pool. They behaved themselves and spoke in normal tones. I was relieved that there were no drinks flung in faces, nor was there yelling or fighting. They were not anything like the Kardashians. Much more reserved. I didn't see any attention seeking behavior and I never saw them interacting with other passengers other than their little group. They were pretty over the top the way they spoke to each other, so I hope for their sake that they were method actors or paid to stay in character. However, they were very respectful to the other passengers. They acted like regular passengers in the buffet, and I never saw any demands for special treatment. Very well behaved. Overall, it was not the big disruption that I thought it would be and turned out fine.
