  1. That's not working for me. It does still give me the option of bidding. Can I assume that either my bid wasn't accepted or it was lost in the process?
  2. No. You have to purchase the Plus package for both. Or you could just buy the standalone drinks package for your sister
  3. But there are 4 passengers in the cabin. The adults are covered under the Plus package but not the kids
  4. There are quite a few deals to be had right now. On top of those fares, I have $500 OBC. Can't beat this! I also bid for a balcony on both cruises. We shall see!
  5. Exactly what I was thinking... Get your Christmas shopping done early! Or you can take it out through the slot machines in the casino
  6. Talking price only, I have 2 b2b 7 days to Mexico with Princess Plus. Sailing 11/25 and 12/13. Total cost for an inside for 14 days is 1100 + $871. This also includes taxes and insurance. I win! šŸ˜€ This appears to be much cheaper than Virgin. Please do enjoy your cruises!
  7. This is great! I will be on the Discovery for 2 weeks starting at thewait! end of November... Can't wait!
  8. Or just ask here I guess. I forgot this isn't another social media!
  9. Don't feel mistreated. Just get a really good travel agent! All cruise lines operate this way... Pm me if you want the name of my travel agent. She's great!
  10. I'm willing to bet that they don't. Not everyone is interested in saving money!
  11. That's a good thing. Where do you expect the hard working crew to go? Anywhere will be a problem for you and others... Don't they deserve a break?
  12. Thank you for posting this. I will definitely have to try it on my December cruise on the Discovery!
  13. You cannot just upgrade only the drinks package. You would have to upgrade everything for $25 per day. I would just pay the difference if there are drinks you want that are over $12.
  14. Princess did not screw you over. No, there is no trouble brewing with Princess. A $100 was not enough compensation for you? I happily accepted this, rebooked a cruise and am looking forward to a substantial FCC.
  15. You do realize this is a pandemic, right? You also realize that the other cruise lines are going through the same thing, right? I think cruising may just not be for you, at least for the next few years. Princess is a very reputable cruise line and I hate to see it insulted through no fault of their own. I had two cruises booked on the Diamond and I am disappointed... However, I just looked at my options and rebooked one and will have a substantial FCC for another cruise.
  16. I just contacted Princess at the above email address, copying Jan Swartz and John Padgett yesterday afternoon. I explained my situation in detail. Everything was fixed this morning! I think some of you may not have valid complaints and the tone of the emails may not have helped either. If you can be polite and detail with specificity your problems, you have a much greater chance to get the results you want. If, like in the above case, a passenger complains like this, he or she is going to get nowhere.
  17. The issues with the Crown Princess were known to everyone for months. You had a chance to cancel and rebook on another ship but you did not take it. I don't see why you would be entitled to a $1,400 refund.
  18. Old news. It's starting in the US on October 5
  19. Patience. Check your account weekly. It's highly unlikely anyone will be reporting here that they received their refunds, especially since most of us have chosen either to rebook or to get FCC's.
