  1. Simple answer: Yes you do. To enter Canada, Americans must show a valid passport. To enter the US, Canadians must show a valid passport. Its reciprocal and its official. 🙂
  2. We went to Hawaii out of SF the first week of April 2019 and except for the first night, it was fine. FYI - if it means anything, I am susceptible to seasickness and other than that first night, which I had been warned about, I didn't have any problems at all. Enjoy your cruise.
  3. Oh, I'm not going for a while, I wish I was. 🙂
  4. Thanks so much. Looking forward to seeing what was done during drydock.
  5. First time HAL cruisers here; third booking but first cruise. Hoping three is the charm!! LOL. Can anyone tell me about cabin VC 6115. Its on the rear bumpout and I was wondering if that gives us a larger balcony.
  6. That sounds like a great idea!! Thx
  7. The Patron XO Cafe Liqueur has been discontinued. Can anyone give me a great alternative?
  8. I was watching a YouTube and the commentator spoke of two Retreat areas; one area was isolated up above the pool area and the other was cabanas that lined the pool area and he referred to them as retreat cabanas. Are they both Retreat areas with full menus, service, etc.
  9. We were on the Regal for the recent transatlantic and found the dining room to be somewhat lacking. We went to the buffet and found what we wanted. Food is so subjective.
  10. We gave up and checked in the next day at the airport, a lot of people did. 😞
  11. We were on the Regal transatlantic and for the last three days of the cruise, there was no internet - there were repairs going on, or so we were told. On the last day of the cruise at around 4:00pm the internet was once again available and promptly crashed. People trying to do their online check in rushed the Internet Café and it was backed up, the line went back past Vines, one man said he had been over an hour getting assistance. Should they keep the Internet Café? From the number of people I saw waiting to use it, Oh Hell Yes.
  12. That happened to us on Friday. We only had a credit card and that truly annoyed the cab driver. Takes too much time and I have to call Administration he said. Well, we had no American cash so we took the time. Then he told DH to just round up to $25.00 to save time. We took our time and the cost was just over $15.00. Just a touch of larceny? LOL
  13. Oh no Mr. Bill...not the INTERNET!!??!! ROFLMAO...I am thinking you may be of a 'certain' age😉
  14. Found it at our local wine store, its $40 CDN a bottle. Might pick some up for tomorrow night. Sort of a pre-cruise celebration. 🙂
  15. There is a marvelous 14-day on the Nieuw Statendam with no repeat ports...just saying..... https://www.hollandamerica.com/en_US/find-a-cruise/E3N14E/J342.html
  16. We had that happen on our Med cruise. We got it back when we disembarked in Egypt, they demand the original document!! 🙂
  17. The Dirty Martini is my First Drink Of The Cruise. 🙂 So looking forward to having one. There used to be a Tiramisu Martini, has anyone encountered that one lately?
  18. Wonderful, another Live From to enjoy with my coffee in the morning. We board on 17Nov in Rome. Can't wait to join you. 🙂
  19. I'm confused...was there any doubt about this??? 😁😁🥂
  20. Absolutely. It was the most amazing day and well worth the time. Go for it, you won't be disappointed. 🙂
  21. On a Transatlantic in 2011, during a visit to Cinque Terre, we had a great wine with lunch and the owner of the restaurant told us where the wine store was. We headed over there, I think we were a group of 10, and we cleaned that wine store out of that particular wine. No one blinked an eye when we carried it back onboard!! 😉🥂
  22. On a ship built for 3600? Wow, that's going to be awesome. 🙂
